As always, you can find this hotel at: 26.1877028,-97.7130822,19.12 THE GOOD: - The location may seem far from McAllen but it is at most 10 minutes on the highway. - There are many shops, malls, convenience stores and general services nearby. - It's well communicated - Clean and with many amenities in the rooms - Hot water was never lacking and with good pressure - Good number of TV channels - Functional parking - I never had a problem finding a parking space - Quick and efficient check in and check out - There is a walmart and a SAMS very close, you can even go on foot. - Being away from McAllen or the beach makes it a quiet place - I selected this hotel because it is very close to The Indios International Bridge THE BAD: - The hotel is a bit old - Has some details that require renovation or maintenance - There were some isolated electrical cables but on the carpet (photo) - Maybe a bit far from everything.

I had prepaid and reserved my room. However, when I checked in, was told that my reservation from a king bedroom non smoking was changed to a 2 queen bed with smoking. This was unsatisfactory and unprofessional. But since I prepaid, the hotel clerk gave me a room that was reserved but they did not pay. Undecided if I will stay here again?
