Hotels in Confucius Temple Area, Nanjing

This is my fifth night staying here, and I can honestly say if you're coming to Nanjing, you won't regret choosing this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. What's most memorable is the service – it's absolutely exceptional, truly outstanding! There's also a free washing machine, which is convenient for doing laundry and drying clothes. The location is also ideal, making it easy to get to Fuzimiao and Laodongmen. Catching a Didi (ride-share) is also a breeze; you just walk a few steps out the door and you're good to go. Seriously, there's really nothing to fault here.

Perfect location, taxi can be dropped off right in front of the hotel, and across the street from the hotel is the famous laomendong area, where you can find the amazing nanjing impression restaurant, this one is the more impressive looking space than other branches. Professional, well organised, rooms are cleaned and tidied, water, tea, and toiletries replenished every day. Plenty common areas to use, convenient, great value for money.

This has to be the best accommodation for a trip to Nanjing! I stayed in the Qin Huai Ren Jia's Rouge Boat River View King Room, and the traditional Chinese style was incredibly immersive. The carved wooden decor, elegant bed canopy, and the ink wash paintings on the wall all exuded an ancient江南 (Jiangnan) charm, making it feel like I was living in a Ming or Qing dynasty home. With the window open, you're right on the Qinhuai River – in the morning, you can hear faint birdsong, and in the evening, you watch tour boats slowly pass by with their passengers. The night view is absolutely stunning. The hotel facilities are very comprehensive; there's plenty of hot water in the bathroom, the toiletries have a subtle fragrance, and the soundproofing in the room is excellent, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the Confucius Temple and the Imperial Examination Museum. When you're tired from exploring, you can return to the hotel for a cup of tea and enjoy the view – this is truly how a trip to Jinling should be!

The hotel staff were excellent; they kindly upgraded us to a king-size room. Despite being in a busy downtown area, it was surprisingly quiet, and we slept very soundly. The bedding was extremely comfortable. We would definitely choose to stay here again next time. The hotel is right next to Qinhuai River, just steps from the entrance. There are many dining options nearby, and we enjoyed local delicacies like crab roe noodles, BBQ, duck blood vermicelli soup, and soup dumplings.

We capped off our summer vacation, which coincided with the 80th anniversary of the Anti-Japanese War victory, with a visit to Nanjing right before the holidays wrapped up. We stayed at a hotel that's quite the influencer hotspot, and the check-in experience was fantastic. My son was absolutely delighted with the Ultraman-themed room. Steven was exceptionally detailed and helpful in his communication and coordination. The check-out arrangements were also very accommodating and flexible, ensuring a completely hassle-free stay.

The room offers a bright and clear view of the Qinhuai River right downstairs, which met my expectations. However, the soundproofing was a major issue; I was woken up at 6 AM by neighbors talking. The air conditioner also needs cleaning, as it blew out a musty smell. I've attached a real photo of the beautiful view from the window.

The front desk service was excellent, and the hotel's location is superb, right in Xinjiekou. They offer free parking, which is a big plus. I've been staying here since I was pregnant, whenever I visit Nanjing. This time, I was in Nanjing for my baby's medical appointment, and they thoughtfully arranged two adjacent rooms for us. That was incredibly considerate! Room 02 even has a long sofa bed that can be pulled right over to act as a bed rail, which is so practical for taking care of a baby. They also have a projector, in case you're worried about bright lights for the little one's eyes. The zero-gravity mattress is still the most comfortable. The hotel's hygiene is great, and the delivery service coverage is very wide. It's truly the best choice in the city center with excellent value for money. The front desk staff are all very attentive and thoughtful. Thank you all, I will definitely choose this hotel again next time!

A must-visit for a short family weekend trip to the Confucius Temple scenic area! This hotel is right next to it, perfectly catering to all our dining, entertainment, and shopping needs. Being a new hotel, the facilities are modern, the room is clean and tidy, and the bathroom has a lovely color scheme with a great wet/dry separation – the kids absolutely loved it! 😍 The smart toilet was incredibly clean (a thousand thumbs up 👍). Breakfast was so extensive we ate until we were stuffed. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. We were out early and back late with the kids, so I completely forgot to take pictures of the beautiful hotel! 😜

Extremely satisfied. The hotel's location is excellent, with direct access from the lobby to the metro, serving lines 3 and 5, making it convenient to get anywhere. The hotel has its own parking, so driving there and then taking the subway is really nice. Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) is right outside, which is great for sightseeing and dining. The hotel's decor is very cozy, and the rooms are clean and spacious. I must highlight the hotel's attentive service, especially Ningning and Kaikai, who contacted us in advance to communicate and were incredibly thoughtful and thorough, paying special attention to our child. It was a very satisfying stay.
