I loved the antique aesthetics. It made me feel like I stepped back into a simpler time. It was very relaxing and the hotel is located directly next to the lakeside and has an amazing view of a lot of popular tourist spots. The breakfast was fantastic.

Beautiful and great location right across the street from a West Lake. Delicious breakfast. Historical feel. Can explore the interesting back streets behind the hotel also.

The hotel has a long history back to 1913 and is fascinating. Rooms are very quiet and with all the necessary, maybe a bit small. Breakfast is good, could have more choice. Restaurant is very popular so better to reserve a table in advance

There's a lot of great things about this hotel. First of all, you can't beat the location. it's just simply the best if you're in the area to enjoy the west lake area. There's so much history in this property and it's a job to explore all the nooks and crannies and see it all. The food is great, the service is top-notch. The rooms are small and old, of course, but i hope you don't stay in the room too much. it's also very pricey, but you get the location with that price. 新新飯店，可堪為我近期商旅和親子行程中的寶藏酒店。酒店本身就在西湖景區中，坐落在北山路上，這條路上有一系列百年或更久歷史的古舊建築，多為西式或中西合璧風格的望湖別墅，原主人為國府時期的浙系要員或商界巨賈，現在多為博物館、美術館、紀念館或省文物遺存。走在這條街上，不光有湖光山色入眼，還有一層濃厚的歷史人文氣息入懷。酒店前台的接待人員，服務很好，專業周到、笑容温暖。大堂裏的郭領班還有一位美女，對客人的詢問真是有問必答。一層對着前台的是1913客廳，入門左手處是1913餐廳，用餐時間都是客滿。我們的房間帶一個約4平米的露台，可看見一點點湖景，風景很贊。房間很安靜，歡迎水果很豐富，還備有免費的飲料和酸奶。室內佈置典雅懷舊，墨綠色為主打色，與人字拼深棕色地板非常契合。打掃房間的楊小蘭大姐很是認真，一再詢問還需要點什麼，特別熱情能幹。房間裏濃濃的舊時光景很符合我的審美與熱愛，狂拍了很多張照片，大堂西側“孤雲草舍”在日落時分華燈初啟，氛圍簡直太美了，那裡提供法餐和下午茶。酒店的早餐很是豐富，碰巧了會被安排到臨窗的位置，眼前的湖景就是一幅幅生動的畫卷。計劃夏日和初秋再來杭州，新新飯店～必是下次的不二選擇。

新新飯店住了2晚，西湖第一家飯店，飯店正對西湖錦帶橋斷橋，飯店裡民國範，一桌一椅都還原100多年前的樣子。有一整面曾入住過的名人牆。7樓平台可以俯瞰西湖。樓層服務員很熱情，主動問好。房間乾淨有特色。酒店有一個項目是“陳伯講故事”，陳伯是土生土長的杭州人，知識淵博談吐詼諧，聽得我和老公景點也不去了，連聽2天，勝讀十年書。

新新飯店位於杭州浪漫北山路，已跨越2個世紀百年歷史。1913年設計完成英文名為“THE NEW HOTEL”酒店名字源於《禮記•大學》的：“苟日新，日日新，又日新”藴有“鋭意進取”的美好祝願！有人稱它是“杭州的和平飯店”，也有人説它是“名人風雲錄”。宋慶齡、徐志摩、魯迅、林徽因、張愛玲等當時一半的名流政要都曾下榻於此。愛極了這民國風！因為酒店在裝修，免費升級了房間，很喜歡！1913用餐環境好、口味好、服務好，晚上還拍了一組“繁花”的照片，感覺太好了！
