The lack of air conditioning in this hotel is really no big deal compared to others. Their baby cot is not clean, my child slept in their bed for two nights, he likes to sleep on his side and on his stomach, and his face is allergic to any part of the bed that touches the sheets. When I spoke to the hotel, they admitted that it was the hotel's responsibility and said that they could pay for an ointment so that I could go to the pharmacy and buy it myself. Amazingly, almost all the staff at the hotel had a very poor attitude, didn't care about the child, privately divulged personal information about the residents as a topic of discussion at work (every staff member knew about our personal matters/information, even those I had never seen) and even asked me if you wanted to call an ambulance for such a small matter. I cancelled my whole day plam and took a taxi to the pharmacy, which cost over 60 euros, and in the end the hotel only gave me 5 euro for the ointment, saying that I took a taxi to a pharmacy that was too far away and they couldn't cover the taxi costs, and the manager said that the only place they could pay for was a taxi to 10 euros, so they refused to pay for the journey??? But they didn't say any of that before I left, I was just told to take my own taxi to the pharmacy and they knew we were leaving that day so they made a very perfunctory promise which was all overturned. The important thing is that I paid 100€ for this baby cot and it was still not clean, finally I spoke to the manager and I said I paid 100€ only to get the cot and he said you have checked out and everything is sorted I don't know what is in your room now? !!!Anyway don't bring your children to this dangerous hotel, the staff were very dishonest and went as far as to say the room had been cleaned to destroy the evidence.

I booked this lovely property with miles, but cash rates are typically very reasonable. I enjoyed my stay greatly. The atmosphere felt fresh and new (as if the hotel had been recently constructed), the location is within walking distance to the subway station and Miniatur Wunderland, and the service is very kind and helpful. Thinking back on it, I hope I didn’t sound too entitled when I was asking every two hours if there was a room available for early check-in (I hadn’t slept the night before!). The staff were so patient and accommodating. I loved them. The rooms were everything I needed for a one-night stay, and then some. My request for a courtyard-facing room was granted, and I slept with the utmost bliss. Cleanliness was apparent throughout the room and lobby areas. The space I was given was large, comfy, and workable for someone in an electric wheelchair. I shall leave by mentioning one thing I wasn’t aware of—the holiday of Pentecost is apparently a huge thing in Germany. While this brought awesome advantages like zero traffic and a feeling as if Hamburg was a ghost town I had to myself for a day, it also meant the on-site restaurant was closed (and most other restaurants). Not complaining—just FYI if you’re visiting in early June! Thanks for the best stay I could ever ask for!

Great location. Easy to get around and get back to the place at night. If you're a light sleeper I wouldn't recommend the shared rooms, people coming back late at night, the doors close quite loudly. My only complaint is that I received a keycard to the wrong room and walked right into a private suite.. Nobody was there thankfully and I just walked right out, but if I were staying in a private room I would hate to think that strangers could just walk into my room where all my belongings are lying around. Otherwise clean and quite a cool environment.

I stayed in ”Alte Wache” hotel 2 nights for working reasons, arriving by taxi from the apt. The kindness, courtesy and service efficiency of the gentleman and the lady at the reception deserve a top rate. They both are a great example of care and warm hospitality, making every guest feel really welcomed. The lobby is nice in its old fashion style, the double room is spacious, perfectly clean and silent; breakfast was very good, and much better than some 4stars hotel: the tea blend selections very appreciated and the fresh flower on the tables a lovely, precious gift!! 2 small suggestions: 1) the morning waitress should be a little bit more smilying; 2) do not accomodate a person alone in a dinner table for 6. The hotel is also extremely close to city center (walking distance), so I really reccomend it!!
The privately run 4-star Superior Hotel Böttcherhof warmly welcomes you.

This is one of the better hotels I've ever stayed: modern and tidy room, well equipped fitness, excellent wellness area (2 saunas and 1 steam bath) and very good food. It's located in an industrial neighbourhood, but it's quiet at night and easy to reach the highway.

We booked this hotel via Amoma. Com as it stated that this hotel had large family rooms, pets were welcome and that the rooms had air-conditioning. All not true. We were asked to pay an additional 30 euros for our third child. We had also booked a quiet room but faced the very noisy street. The room was extraordinaryly hot and staff did not provide us with a fan. The room was small but reasonably clean. No tea or coffee making facilities. The bathroom was ok but hairdryer did not work. Interiors quite tired. The biggest problem with this hotel is the location. It is the local druggie hang out. We saw people using drugs in the street right outside the hotel and it was clear that this is not a safe area. The riot police attended several incidents during our stay and made several arrests. **********s operate in this area too. We would not recommend to stay here and it certainly was not even good value for money.

Excellent
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Hyperion Hamburg for one night during our roadtrip through Europe. Arriving by car is very convenient, since the hotel is located close to a major road and offers garage parking with direct access to the hotel. Also, the location is great for sightseeing, as most of the city center is reachable by foot. We got a nice big corner room on one of the upper floors, with great views, comfortable beds, and lots of space for the 3 of us (2 adults and one child). The breakfast was very good, with many different options.
GGuest UserThe room comes with 1 queen size sofa bed and a toilet once you open the room door. Then there is a sliding door. Once you open the sliding door you will see a king size bed and a shower room with bath tub and toilet.
There are 2 TVs, 4 pairs of room slippers.
Room size is comfortable for 4 adults.
At lobby the hotel provide welcome drinks and cookies. Also packet juice and morning coffee.
The hotel is opposite the terminal 1 main entrance. Has to walk cross the road and it was snowing when we were there, very cold.
GGuest UserA very welcoming hotel in a heart of Hamburg city. Staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. The room was beautiful, very comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was hugely varied and very enjoyable.
GGuest UserThe check-in service went without problems and quickly we received our room.
The staff is premature and friendly.
The room was also clean. And also offers enough room for clothes.
The bathroom is small, but it is enough for shower and tooth cleaning.
We would have booked breakfast if we didn't have to leave so early.
For a weekend trip, this hotel is recommended.
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Super 8 in Mitte, Hamburg at the beginning of March 2022. It is in a good location, not far from Berliner Tor train and Metro stations. There are a few places to eat in the area , as well as supermarkets (including a huge REAL supermarket close to the station!). We found the staff to be very helpful during our stay, supplying us with information, etc. I would definately recommend this hotel!
GGuest UserFrom outside the hotel makes surely a super impression and the location at the Alster is also top, unfortunately it was also with the positive. As in some reviews, the hotel is now ”in the years” and the Corona time has certainly backed up this and the investments have been completely stopped. The rooms are unfortunately everything other than clean, the tape floor old and dirty, the bathroom is not cleaned, shower is calcified etc. As a direct notice at the reception, the rooms are currently ”for Corona” not cleaned... which of course makes much sense because you should probably clean more and disinfect more at the moment. If I want a cleaning, fresh towels etc. I have to register this extra. Unfortunately my room was not even before my arrival cleaned. Although fresh new bed linen were available, but since there were still old towels in the waste board, they were not even empty, which is a complete no-go for me ... Breakfast was okay, But nothing special and after 3 days you had the same three times because there was no change. Reception was sporadically occupied when the staff were not smoking at the moment. Unfortunately, there was no WiFi in the hotel, which is a bad thing as you are almost all in the building No mobile reception (both with my private and service phone, which are two different networks). Price-performance is definitely not proportional here, as it is not even a cheap hotel. It will not stay here in the future.
GGuest UserFriendly staff, clean bathrooms, nice breakfast, great location. Negative: shower temperature were going crazy low and high randomly sometimes, could be a better room for 62 EU, but maybe it is because I checked in late. I saw another room for 52 EU that was way more better.
GGuest UserEverything was fine. Before I checked out on the last day, I was in the bathroom. Suddenly, I heard the cleaning staff didn’t press the doorbell and came in without knocking the door. It was almost..., I thought about cleaning and it was very hard. Just put a few euros as a tip. Once this happens, the direct consumption is taken away, which is really almost
GGuest Userinitially i could not locate the property even though i was standing in front of it as it had a very small name plate no board. and the check in is in another hotel nearby. but the room was very spacious and with all the amneties. it was calm and cozy room. best thing is its location just few steps in front of main Hamburg station
GGuest UserVery Polluted !!! I had a room in the 5.Etage - the driving chair runs from 1 to 4.Etage, the steps to 1 are difficult to handle for walking disabled, and that to 5.Etage also - but I needed a room (it was after 21:00). The door to the room was hard to open, the room makes a bad impression, only the clean bed moved me to stay. In view of the stairs in the house I stayed in ”Room” No 51 ! The floor cover was very flawful, the electrical lines were very defectly shifted, the washing basin directly in the room, the television went not - probably the dirty remote control; a guide was not found for the device! Shower in the hall - toilet as well! THE HOTEL IS NOT RECOMMEND !!!
