Another receptionist responded with a baffling attitude, questioning why I bothered with such "trivial" matters. This experience has not only soured my stay but also tainted my perception of hospitality in Germany.
Even in a hotel of this caliber, falsely claiming Wi-Fi availability for any room is unacceptable. I strongly believe that for such misinformation, an apology and compensation are obligatory.
Continual complaints did earn me a one-day free breakfast, but thereafter, the staff indulged in derogatory remarks in German behind my back. Initially a Wi-Fi issue, the staff's attitude tainted my first impression of Germany. The service at this hotel is genuinely abysmal, making it a place I'd never want to revisit.
