Quality Inn Half Moon Bay - Miramar Beach
4/596 Reviews
The hotel is on the edge of Highway 1, it is easy to find, parking at the door. Room facilities are ok, but there is a smell in the room, some pungent, when asked when leaving the store, it may be air freshener, and the other is the main road is still noisy. Breakfast is not bad, typical American style, bread fruit coffee yoghurt and the like.
Zaballa House

Different in that my room was over a business, as many of the other rooms are. Hardwood floor - an area rug would be very welcome - large room and bathroom. Complaints, an outlet closer to the bed would be handy, as I use my phone for my alarm clock. Also, a small note posted about how to operate the fire place would be good. TV didn't work so well, so be ready to watch Netflix on your laptop/phone. Good location downtown though, close to food, and good parking.
The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay
4.4/570 Reviews
We were welcomed with glasses of wine at the reception, which made my wife happy. The room with the ocean view was absolutely amazing. It has a separate shower and bath in the washroom, with generous water pressure in the shower head (which is a common issue at many hotels in America). The room service breakfast was fantastic. The dining room downstairs has yummy wagyu steak and an excellent range of wines.
Half Moon Bay Lodge
4.2/5100 Reviews
It is a hotel that is a little better than the average motel facilities. Close to the side of Highway 1, but there is a certain distance from the sea, can not walk to the beach can only drive, this position, this price, the price is actually very poor. It takes a few minutes to drive to the seaside hotel in Ritz-Carlton, without a half-dollar relationship. Compared with many hotels within 1000 on the 1st road, the price is very low. The guest who is the best hotel in the United States must have lived in a very bad car hotel throughout the United States. Highway 1 has many hotels close to the beach, and the price is not high and comfortable.
Aristocrat Hotel, BW Signature Collection

Someone burned breakfast and caused a fire alarm that woke up every single guest and had to evacuate at 6 am in the morning. Didn't get enough sleep and was very tired the next day to enjoy the beach and other placed we planned to visit. Didn't even get an applogy from the staff. Not happy with the stay. Also the pillow smelled funky and towels were not all new/replaced...especially with Covid still around...disgusting. Paid quite a lot for the value we recieved. Breakfast is very mediocre. If you are going to charge $300+ per night, atleast provide a hot breakfast.
The Miramar Inn & Suites
4/5102 Reviews
The Miramar Inn and Suites surprised us because it had some bad reviews on Yelp. However, we completely enjoyed our stay at this small independently owned motel. The room was comfortable and somewhat larger than comparably priced hotels in Bay Area. The king size bed was firm but provided excellent sleep. We did not spend much time in the room but it's always nice to have microwave and refrigerator as well as a decent flat screen TV. The bathroom area was spacious and water pressure was outstanding. The room was cleaned and towels replaced daily. The included continental breakfast was exactly what we needed for starting the day, and the coffee machine in the lobby cranked out excellent coffee drinks between 7-10 am.
