Nice hotel. We had a room with private onsen which is a hottube. This is filled with each new guest (I think) and the water will be automatically filled when necessary. There is a free welcome drink which you can have at the footbath bar. Free colourful yukata in different sizes is provided. Breakfast and kaiseki diner was good not the greatest.

The kaiseki dinner was absolutely delicious. The hot springs were incredibly relaxing, making this an amazing trip. I went without doing any research beforehand, but at the footbath bar where they serve welcome drinks, a staff member gave me a map and kindly recommended some great places to visit.

Excellent hotel, conveniently located - close to all stations - literally 5 minutes to everything (funicular, train, bus). The traditional breakfast was a bit too peculiar for us, so on the second day, we went to the cafe across the street for breakfast instead. The view is wonderful, and having your own small onsen right on the balcony is simply beautiful and well-maintained.

Staff were very helpful and the room was spacious. However, since it is kind of countryside, there were scary bugs inside the room. The staff helped us catch all of them but we didn't want to open to balcony door again since then.
