This is a wonderful hotel. It’s in a central location, the room we were in was perfect and the staff were helpful and friendly. The price was more than reasonable and the tram goes from across the street. Centraal Train Station is a short walk or you can get the tram. Very easy to get to and from Schipol Airport. The only negative was the street noise at night, but it was the weekend before Christmas and the World Cup Final weekend. Thankfully, we were so tired from our exploring that we slept regardless.

The restaurant is very well presented and looks fabulous. The food is pretty good too. Unfortunately, the staff made quite a few errors, although they were very apologetic. The thing I didn’t appreciate was the almost forceful way that a tip was demanded from us. That’s for me to decide, not for you to dictate.

We just called in to get out of the cold this afternoon and sat in a warm beautiful area near the bar and open fire. Perfect drinks and very attentive professional staff. Such a great warm place. Had a terrific sandwich and lots of great drinks 👍any Aussie would love this bar. Head bar tender during our time there was outstanding

This review is for the restaurant, we were passing by in a sunny, Tuesday afternoon and decided to stop for light lunch. My baked goat cheese salad was superb. We were seated at the terrace and could watch the world go by....it's on a pedestrianised square...Priceless! The interior decor was very swanky and modern. Great service- Micky was very attentive and informative. Hague was unplanned extension of our Amsterdam long weekend, and it turned out to be a lovely surprise !

Wat een geweldig hotel op een zeer centrale plek. Wij verbleven in kamer "het torentje" welke van alle gemakken voorzien was. De hotel medewerker liep bij inchecken met ons mee naar de kamer om ter plekke uitleg te geven. De volgende ochtend een super ontbijt mogen nuttigen in het restaurant. Helaas geen eigen parkeerfaciliteiten, dichtbij is een Q-park.

Vandaag zijn wij door een medewerkster van dit etablissement beschuldigd van diefstal! Eén van de medewerksters dacht mijn vrouw te herkennen van het niet betalen van een rekening 2 weken geleden. Na eerst voorzichtig te vissen naar een eventueel eerder bezoek, vertelde ze dat ze de niet betaalde rekening zelf had moeten betalen. Wij zijn zeker na Corona niet meer bij TGH geweest.... Vervolgens ging ze smoezen met haar collega's en bleef bij het afrekenen volharden dat ze mijn vrouw herkende. Vervolgens heeft mijn vrouw haar nog eens persoonlijk aangesproken. Ze bleef erbij: Ik herken u. Onvoorstelbaar! Daarna hebben wij het management aangesproken, dit kan toch niet waar zijn? Ik mag toch hopen dat de eigenaar van dit bedrijf dit meisje vriendelijk verzoekt naar een andere baan te gaan zoeken. Wat een schandalige vertoning! Het eten was dan wel ok maar zo kun je onmogelijk een goede recensie schrijven. Walgelijk!

We zaten gezellig op het terras. We hadden nacho’s en patat besteld. De nacho’s kwamen helemaal koud aan en de gesmolten kaas was niet te eten. De bediening kwam geen enkele keer naar ons toe om te vragen of alles naar wens was. We moesten zelf aangeven dat de nacho’s koud waren. Hun reactie hierop was ‘oh’ ‘dus je wilt het niet meer’ en toen nam hij het mee en moesten we er voor betalen. Kwam geen excuses of oplossing aan te pas. Voor de bediening en eten moet je hier niet heen gaan....
