Hotel Location is best if you have business with mobile phone accessories. New Asia market is right in front of this hotel. But old hotel. Need renovation. But price is cheap. Not easy to find restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

Location : Hotel located at old town area. And consider a bit far from Metro station, although there's shuttle ferry service nearby, but not helping much. Service : Front desk staffs are good. Cleanliness : Although this hotel is only opened since 2021, but it seems that there's no maintenance on the facilities. Housekeeping cleanliness not up to standard though. Amenities : Nothing much nearby the hotel, 600m walk to 7-E. Consider local residence housing area. If you are looking for hotel with big room, yet don't mind the distance from metro. You can pick this up.

The location is not good. The street is crowded with narrow side walk. The hotel is old with basic facilities. There no beautiful scenery from the window. There is no breakfast. It's ok only for one night with this price especially for a family.

We booked a river view suite. Though the room was a bit dated but its size and floorplan was more like a presidential suite especially overlooking the pearl River. The river view was very grand and unblocking.. We really enjoyed the night view with multiple nightly cruises passed by every evening. The 5 star White swan hotel, people s bridge and ”sand face Island” were all within our view. As we are more like vegetarian, the Asian breakfast buffet have enough dishes for our taste. In fact, I can accept eating that type of breakfast everyday. To enhance your experience, you can walk across the people's bridge to ”sand face Island” through the old French style buildings and finally lead to the white swan hotel (if your budget allow, have a meal there). Of course, we did all those and more. What I didn't like and what the hotel needs to improve, please give hotel guests free access to the spa within the same building.

Stayed for 4 days. The hotel has a good location. The room is large and very friendly to families with a lot of luggage. The room has many facilities, including a safe and a small refrigerator. For this price, I think it can't be better. The room attendants are service-minded and will proactively ask if the room needs to be cleaned. They will also take the initiative to say hello when they meet in the aisle and are very enthusiastic. As a reminder, there are many cars in front of the hotel, and there will be noise at night, but it is not very loud. If your family members are concerned, remember to ask the front desk to arrange for a high floor. In addition, the window on the 7th floor of the hotel is right on the decorative light (I live on the 7th floor), so the room will be noisy at night. It is relatively bright, so please pay attention to family members who are concerned (the decorative lights will be turned off on time at 11pm). I was only a little dissatisfied. I received a courier at the hotel. I asked the courier to leave it at the front desk when I was not in the room. When I came back to pick up the courier, the front desk briefly flipped through the book (maybe it was a record book) and said it was not available. I told her It's impossible for you to look for it again (there are several couriers underground). The front desk was obsessed with it and started playing with the mobile phone. Finally, I contacted the courier, and it turned out that the courier was on the ground at the feet of the front desk... I was very embarrassed, no I couldn't help but ask how you recorded it here. The front desk hesitated and said because it was from JD.com or something (he said it while playing with his mobile phone and lowered his head the whole time). I was surprised. A little suggestion, the elevator is a bit slow. Many times there are delivery personnel from other floors bringing a load of goods to the elevator. It is inconvenient for passengers to get on and off the elevator. It is recommended to install passenger elevators and freight elevators. To clarify, the above little unpleasantness and suggestions do not affect my praise of this hotel at all. It is not easy for the hotel to maintain such quality after 91 years of operation. I would like to praise the room attendant again. I met two or three aunties. I think they all have a five-star service level; finally, I wish the hotel better and better. ps: I stayed there for five days and didn’t even take any photos of the room. The hotel facilities and equipment are very new and complete. The towels are all sealed and packaged, as well as bathrobes. The supplies are all clean and new. Manager Li at the front desk has warm reception and service, and is also considerate and meticulous. The room is very nice, clean and sanitary. It is very convenient for people to buy goods. The price is moderate and acceptable.

Nice location, near attractions and the train station. the renovation was in progress during my visit and nice decoration for the lobby & serve for tea & snacks. Nice breakfast and supper. My luggage was delayed and the receptionist was helping me check the courier status and make a call with them. Advantages - Good receptionist service Disadvantages - only one lift for usage.

The hotel environment is very good, with complete facilities. There are coffee bars, green tea and black tea in the room. The room is very clean and hygienic. The service is also very good. I am very satisfied. This hotel in the surrounding area is very good. 👍

Shamian Island is definitely the best choice for business travel accommodation in Guangzhou! The environment is elegant and retro. Walking here in the dead of night is comfortable and relaxing. Recommended to stay. Be sure to choose one with floor-to-ceiling windows.

I am a returned customer of the hotel. The hotel location is excellent which is along the Pearl River. The buildings behind the hotel are very beautifully constructed and well maintained of about a hundred years old. The staff are very polite and helpful especially the lady who helped us to check in at the front desk and the gentleman at the concierge who gave us information of the river cruise. There are good restaurants there and the hotel facilities are very nice. I will definitely go again if I go to Guangzhou again.
