Great buffet breakfast at the Veranda Cafe. And if you're in the mood for fast food there is a Burger King, Starbucks and a Domino's in the same block. I will book this hotel again if I'm back on GZ.

First of all, I would like to praise all the service staff, especially the duty manager Peter, who communicated with me about the housing needs before my mother and I checked in, fully understood the core needs of the residents, and made arrangements that moved the customers. It was very considerate. The hotel has a great location and the decoration is elegant and dignified. We are traveling. The station in front of the hotel is connected in all directions. We can reach many famous attractions without even needing a subway. The room is designed according to the specifications of a hotel apartment, and is equipped with a washing machine, microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle, and coffee machine. I live in a suite, and the washing machine has a drying function. In Guangzhou, which is hot and hot, it is very convenient for me, who has to wash and dry clothes every day. The hairdryer is from Dyson, and the room is thoughtfully equipped with electric mosquito coils and a steam ironing machine. You can feel that the staff want to make guests feel at home. There are plenty of USB charging sockets in the room, which is convenient and user-friendly. There is PILLOW MENU where you can choose the pillow that suits you. The housekeeping staff even found out that I drink coffee every day, so they put some extra coffee capsules in the bag so that I could drink it with peace of mind😀 Although the hotel's catering is not yet complete, the scenery is almost non-existent, and the young service staff's response is a bit ****y. But you can feel the attitude of the other party trying to provide good service. In addition, the old central location just across the road from Beiyuan Restaurant can definitely be a reason to stay here again next time.

Fabulous historic hotel in the center of the beautiful YueXiu district. Rooms are huge, staff is efficient, speaks English, and very polite. Rooms have high ceilings, huge windows and very well decorated in a classic but super comfortable classical China style. Yuexiu Park metro station is 5 min walk, and next door is a Starbucks and McDonalds. Across the street is a new mall with lots of Chinese restaurants. It’s also about a 10 minute walk from Guangzhou’s famous clothing wholesale markets. Hotel lobby is huge and totally fabulous! Staying here makes you feel like you are living a life of luxury, but still at a reasonable price. One thing I would tell the staff to improve : showers need to be scrubbed better because any mold in the shower is unacceptable, even a little. This is a common problem in China, different standards than western cultures I guess. Otherwise, this is the place to stay. Standard Rooms here are a lot larger than at the China Hotel next door, and usually rooms rates for both properties are similar. Why not stay at Dong Fang and get a nicer room for the same price ?

Got an upgrade in parent/child room on 35th floor It looked fully renovated, fresh scent and carpet smell. My room was very big and clean and looked like I was the first one to use it. It had that fresh smell They could change the breakfast times to times and add more options for halal/muslims customers. Overall they have a lot of options in breakfast too Cleaning was spot on and location is very near to all restaurants and shops. Multiple Canton Fair shuttle a day to pick you up and drop you back to hotel Swimming and gym was also very nice I would use it again for sure but only if it’s 35th floor and above

Front Desk staff is top service, housekeeping lady that clean my room, thank you so much for the hand writing note.Concierge staff, doesn’t feel like helping traveller like us. I want to thank front desk for helping me and assisting on my request. Here are the major negative thing that i personally feel 1. Centralized A/C which is too hot even though i have switch to the lowest degree with cool high air. 2. Window too dusty as i was told to open the window if is too hot and stuffy 3. Shower top needs to change as the rubber tip turn brownish and water shooting from different direction 4. Breakfast expenses need to pay on the spot and not able to settle upon departure 5. Lift is alittle scary to me even though is safe. The lift have not completely stop and the door open. Overall, staffs is good but hotel is kinda old.

I haven’t been back to Guangzhou for a long time. I miss this hotel very much. It has been renovated a lot. The breakfast in the restaurant on the second floor is various. There are enthusiastic staff in the front hall, a good-looking guy and a beautiful girl. The guest rooms are full of enthusiasm. Sister, the room is still as clean and tidy as before, and there is a new laundry room, and the washing machine also has a drying function, so you don't have to worry about the clothes not drying for several days. Love this hotel. Facilities: Laundry room, quick wash, spin and dry in one Hygiene: Clean and tidy, equipped with disposable toilet seat covers and disposable bathtub bags. The newly opened hotel has very good hygiene and environment. All facilities are very new. The buffet breakfast also has a lot of varieties. There are washing machines and dryers on the first floor. You can ask for a small bag of laundry detergent from the front desk. You can also ask for mineral water if you don't have enough. It can be said to be the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It was a pleasant stay at this hotel until I bought the breakfast voucher, to my dismay, breakfast timing was 7-10am, We went for breakfast on the first day at 9am, the food was left with 30% choices and there isn’t any refill which can be understood but the second day we went at 8.30am and the food left was 5%, everything on the plate was left empty except for the noodles section, can’t believe what we saw. There are more people entering to eat breakfast at 9am and overheard the guest asked is there any food left, all was directed to the noodles section waiting for the chef to cook and also the egg section (same chef as the noodles). This is so unbelievable, we paid the for the breakfast and we are not given any decent dood refill, might as well I spent it at the outside shops. Given a choice, will never want to stay here again although the stay was good but the eatery surrounding are not use to as vibrant as before.

Greatly enjoyed my stay at both Hampton by Hiltons I stayed at in Guangzhou (the other was the sports center one). This one had a big leg up, over most Asian hotels actually, which is that the air conditioning was on! It was nice to sleep in a cool 18C :) The staff here was wonderful, for example immediately after I checked out I asked if there was a microwave to heat a leftover burger I had. I was taken to the restaurant and the desk staff heated the burger and allowed me to dine in the restaurant area while it was closed. This was greatly appreciated. Like the other Hampton hotel it seems quite new, has a very innovative light switch setup that I love, and the bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend it. Location is a touch far from the metro but manageable and taxis are plentiful, walkable to nice areas including the amazing sculpture park and its attached parks. Note the Google maps location for the hotel is wrong, it's located in the large open space directly northeast of the Ziyuan Comprehensive Market shown on the attached screenshot. Enjoy!

This hotel is nestled back from the main roads, however, it is within the historic leather market and taxis will pick up at the hotel entrance. It is also next to the train station. Inside there are nice rooms and a friendly staff. The bed is very comfortable and the aura is very quaint. One thing that I wish they had is an hdmi port on the TVs. This a common thing that hotels in China are missing, so I hope that they consider upgrading to maximize the experience.

I went to Guangzhou for a week on a business trip. I chose this hotel until two o'clock in the middle of the night. The facts proved that it was not a waste of my efforts. First of all, because I am going to the surrounding cities, I am very considerate. Secondly, the location of the hotel is really good. The subway station is the subway station. There are all kinds of delicious food within one kilometer nearby. It’s a bit good to go out. There is Tao Taoju across the road. I have eaten these few days... Finally , The hotel's hygiene is very good. Although the facilities are relatively old, the sanitation is good and the bathtub is very clean. In short, at this price, what else is required to find such a good hotel in this location in Guangzhou? Called to praise the little brother Huang Depei at the front desk for helping with late check-out. In fact, all the service staff in this hotel are very nice, take the trouble to answer our questions and recommend delicious food around.

The location is good and the transportation is convenient. You can get to the subway station in a few minutes. We chose the hotel to go to the Guangzhou Zoo. There is a free parking lot, which can be exempted until 2 pm. If you exceed , you have to pay more. You have saved a lot of parking fees. Self-service The breakfast was better than expected. Upon arrival at the hotel after the check in time of 2:00pm, we were told that the rooms were not yet cleaned but we were given keys to the rooms. We would expect to get into cleaned rooms without any hassle for a hotel of this standing. It was quite horrifying to go into a room that is not cleaned. One of the rooms had a heavy cigarette smell and that needs to be changed. We have reserved 3 rooms but each room is a a different floor and our key card cannot access to other floors due to security reasons. The room is ok but there is a stain on the chair and some cigarette smell. The bed is also quite firm which may not suit everyone. The hotel should consider enforcing a check out time that would enable them to turn around the rooms in a timely manner.

I went to Guangzhou on business and chose this hotel because of the good reviews. The hotel is near the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall and has its own small parking lot, which costs 40 yuan/24 hours. The room I stayed in was not big, but the hygiene was good. The room lighting and bed curtains were all one-button electronically controlled. The bed is very comfortable, a thumbs up. The front desk service attitude is very good, warm and polite. I will stay here again next time I come. After exiting the hotel, turn right and then turn right again. There is a Xidianhui Tea Restaurant about 200 meters away. The morning tea is very good. Locals dine there. Those who want to experience the local morning tea culture can go there.
