Our order has 2 breakfast everyday but the hotel record only shows 1. We have to show the trip.com confirmation (luckily husband has printed it out, we can't find it again from the order) and they checked that their record is wrong. Billy at the reception doesn't smile and I think he should ask me to add 1 more breakfast (because there is discount to add in advance) but he didn't do so and make me spent half hour to prove I should have 2 breakfast in the next morning. The manager Yannes has apologized and let us have breakfast in the VIP lounge (also free for tea time and happy hour). The food is only average. The waitress asked me if the food okay, I said the bread of the egg benedict is too soft. Then she answered usually people dont' eat the bread. Do you think her answer is so strange? The hotel is grand, the garden and pond is beautiful, room is cozy but you can hear the noise in the next room. The cleaning lady has good smile and polite. Very close to the MTR station and the restaurant Dim Dou Duck.

The hotel stay was fantastic! One of the best and most luxurious hotels I have stayed in. It was huge and a family of 4 could stay comfortably. Wanted to get a day bed for my daughter but she was comfortable sleeping on the huge sofa. The facilities were complete and staff was great and help was given whenever it was needed. Every time my cab arrived at the hotel there was definitely someone opening the door for us.

Front Desk staff is top service, housekeeping lady that clean my room, thank you so much for the hand writing note.Concierge staff, doesn’t feel like helping traveller like us. I want to thank front desk for helping me and assisting on my request. Here are the major negative thing that i personally feel 1. Centralized A/C which is too hot even though i have switch to the lowest degree with cool high air. 2. Window too dusty as i was told to open the window if is too hot and stuffy 3. Shower top needs to change as the rubber tip turn brownish and water shooting from different direction 4. Breakfast expenses need to pay on the spot and not able to settle upon departure 5. Lift is alittle scary to me even though is safe. The lift have not completely stop and the door open. Overall, staffs is good but hotel is kinda old.

The hotel is near an old residential area. It's very quiet at night and you can feel the slow pace of the old town. Room facilities are pretty good. It is an old four-star hotel. The decoration is a bit old, but the hygiene is pretty good. It is managed by Radisson Hotel (most of Radisson's hotels are five-star hotels). The service attitude is very good and it responds to guests' needs in a timely manner. The breakfast is very good. During the Spring Festival, there are few restaurants outside. You can have lunch and dinner at the restaurant on the third floor of the hotel. There is also Zhejiang cuisine, which tastes good and feels basically the same as in Hangzhou. The hotel's location is convenient for transportation. It is very close to the Huanghuagang subway station and the zoo bus terminal, and the Guangzhou Zoo is right next to it. The only thing that didn't feel good was that the air conditioner only had heating. It was so hot that I couldn't sleep at night, so I had to turn off the air conditioner and open the windows to cool down. However, the flaws are not hidden. Compared with similar hotels in the same area, it is very cost-effective and deserves a 5-point rating.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, and though they didn't speak English we were able to chat through the WeChat translation function, and answered any questions that I had, making check in nice and easy. The room was extremely clean, and in a great location as it was only a 2 min walk from the nearest metro. The bed was super comfortable too, and the room was extremely quiet. I was a little dissapointed by some simple things in the room that were clearly overlooked. My towel had a hole in, the robe in my room was broken and the curtain did not close fully as it was stuck in the runner which meant that there was a big gap. They provided a kettle and cups, but no tea/coffee - as I didn't have the chance to stop for breakfast due to work, this would've been a helpful addition. The most annoying thing however, was that the shower door didn't close properly, so I was unable to use the shower at full power as doing so flooded the bathroom floor. Had these things been looked at, I would've given my stay here a 5/5.

This is a hotel full of human touch. The service staff are all locals in their 30s to 50s, who are very simple and kind. Red bean soup or white fungus soup will be delivered to the room every day, and the breakfast is particularly rich. The most important thing is to live here. It is quiet, hygienic, convenient, and the price is very favorable. The experience is great. Dongshan Hotel will be my first choice when visiting Guangzhou in the future. Thank you for your considerate service, I feel like home~

This hotel is really good, with surprises. It has just been renovated and opened less than half a year ago and has no smell. The bedding is very comfortable and the bathroom brand American Standard is very good. The room is simple, the TV can project the screen, and there is a blackboard. This is the first time I have seen it. It's next to Dongfeng Road, but the sound insulation is very good and it's very quiet. The service is also very fast, but the hot water is not too hot and the water pressure is relatively low.

Very satisfied! ! The location is excellent. The surrounding buses and subways are convenient and within walking distance. It is close to the business district and Huanghuagang Scenic Area. There are Yinji Rice Roll Rice Rolls and Diandu De Hahaha. It is very delicious. The room is very clean and there is no smell at all, which is great. ! ! ! The service attitude at the front desk was also very good. They thoughtfully prepared silent earplugs, disposable toilet covers, disinfectant wipes and other small things. It was very nice ~ I also upgraded to a double bed room. I really like the layout of the room. It is antique and the interior is beautiful. There is also a small refrigerator. The hotel has a self-service laundry room, kitchen and fitness equipment👍The only thing is that it is close to the road, there is a bit of traffic noise, and the room door is not very soundproof, but the price/performance ratio is unbeatable, what else do you need a bicycle😆

The front desk service is good, give Xiao Hu a thumbs up 👍 The room is nice, bright and comfortable, and the cleaning ladies are also very nice. The surrounding Dongshankou subway station is a trendy and lively area, and there is also the Xinhepu historical district, which is very quiet and very comfortable to walk around. The breakfast is more Chinese style, the dim sum variety is enough to fill you up, the replenishment is OK, and the taste is good. The bath water is big. The disadvantage is that the TV does not work and the network signal is not very good. Overall good value for money, satisfied!
