5 out of 5 - what a great place. The tent was great , the location was great. The hot tub was really fun especially at night with a cold drink under the stars. Well done - I have tried to book another weekend this year but you are full - I know why. 😉. We will be back as we all really enjoyed our stay.

This is our second time staying with Africamps but this location stole my heart. From the large dam at the foot of our camp, allowing the children endless hours of fun, to the blanket of stars each evening, enjoyed from the warm hot tub. The bird life was beautiful along with the peace and tranquility this location affords. It was a treat having a restaurant so close to the tents and Stanford town being a stone throw away. The few things I would have loved was WiFi and a larger fridge to store all the cold items. We took daily trips to Ou Meul Bakkery to access WiFi and check on emails etc: overall, we loved every moment of our 5 day stay

Africamps is a great concept. This is our third visit to a property, having stayed at De Pakhuys twice before. Same problem with fridges that are too small and some general maintenance and updating seems required for this property. It’s a formula that should ideally by updated and improved upon over time. For example, an island unit in the kitchen area could solve the problem of finding more space for a proper fridge and countertop/storage. The braais do not have proper grids and multi-level racks, same at all properties. Just some updating could improve what is otherwise a great experience.

My family and I enjoyed a peaceful, fun bonding time at Africamps. The kids had the best time swimming in the dam and hiking. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed themselves, the freedom to run and explore and be free. Thank you Africamps, we will return for sure.

What a beautiful location, breathtaking views. Comfortable and very clean, the only problem was we didn’t want to go home, ever,,, The food baskets were value for money and would definitely advise to order the meals,

Don’t go here. The organization warns about the wind, but what you can expect (next to 10.000 flies) sleepless nights. the tents are in the wind. They don’t share that there is so much noise that you can’t sleep. With children a nightmare.

Absolutely awesome experience for the 1st time at an Africamps. The glamping midweek birthday break for me was WELL DESERVED ☺️ We could rest and unwind in this tranquil spot away from the city hassle. We LOVED the hot tub as it was on our stoep and very private for a relaxing sundowner and even late nite dip.

Amazing location, Stanford is perfectly situated for family trips. Africamps always a winner. Especially the hot tubs ;-) Tents a little noisy when the wind blows, however that's the chance you take when clamping in winter.

Tent entrance flaps zip broken door flap straps off so cant fold flaps away or roll up check other tents same story no point in having a view but you cant enjoy it absolute poor maintanance On all the brochures there are photos of how flaps are rolled up with photos of the views unfortunately it is not working like it should
