Hotel Universal

We stayed at the Hotel Universal as we wanted to visit the Alhambra Palace and Granada. The hotel is very centrally located. We were within walking distance to all of the places we wanted to visit. The reception is warm and engaging. We were given information about where to eat, where to walk for the best views of the city, what time to get to the Alhambra palace for. We had already purchased our tickets to the palace but the receptionist offered to print the email off for me so we had a paper ticket to take to the gate. That was going above and beyond- excellent customer service. The room itself was very large with a queen sized bed, wardrobes, writing desk, bedside tables, safe, trouser press, mini bar (it was empty but you could keep your own items in there if you wished) The ensuite bathroom was modern and pristine. The entire hotel was pristine. The 6th floor has a cafeteria where you can buy breakfast for a very reasonable rate. We had fresh coffee and the most amazing croissants. We paid so little for our room. I was very impressed and would have no problem in recommending the hotel to others.
Room Mate Leo

The location of Room Mate Leo is practically unbeatable. Right in the center of town with major things easily accessible. But it was also a few streets down from major tourist attractions, so you won't get stuck in tourist traps. The distances between attractions and the hotel are easily walkable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and gave great recommendations. The rooms are very clean and nice. I loved that the whole thing is eco-friendly. The rooms were a little small, but still nice. We were traveling as a family so we needed connecting rooms. Unfortunately Room Mate Leo doesn't have them. But still, they will gave almost connecting rooms, except the main door did not lock. It was not such a big problem for us because our kids are a little bit older. Also the heater in the other room didn't work, so that was a big problem, because it was very hot when we traveled. To their credit, they offered to moved us to a different room, so they solved the problem. Overall, excellent!
Eurostars Puerta Real

The location is convenient, and there is a pharmacy next to it that is open until the evening, and it is also very convenient for temporary needs. There are also many restaurants nearby. Although the room is a bit smaller, the overall environment is tidy and comfortable. It’s not far from the bus stop and close to shopping.

Barceló Carmen Granada

I came here several times in the past five years but I was happily surprised this time. The hotel has been entirely refurbished like three weeks ago and it looks completely new. Rooms size are correct and decoration is very modern. The best the B-Heaven bar which is located at the rooftop with the pool. Its location is awesome too, in downtown but avoiding crowds. Very recommendable!

This is a chain hotel, the location is very good, but the room is really small, the facilities are relatively old, the air conditioning is an old-fashioned knob, you can't adjust the heat and heat without ventilation, can only open the window, but the Spanish temperature difference is very big, opened The window is cold and stuffy, it is very embarrassing... In addition, many hotels in Europe don't provide basic toiletries such as toothbrushes. This is not the case. There are no paper towels. The matching supplies are small, so the regular supplies should be prepared just in case, in general, the hotel is booked. The price is not too high, Granada is five stars in addition to the Alhambra Hotel, this is already a four-star hotel, the town's B&B feels not too safe, and it is barely safe for security and location.
