Dreams Corfu Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

This Hotel was beyond belive, compared to the original hotel we were in the Nissaki Beach Hotel, which we had to be moved from, this Hotel The Dreams Resort and spa was paradise and more it was Disabled Friendly, The Bedrooms was outstanding with a wonderful sea view, the Bathroom was like a Double room size with handrails and emergency cord fitted,scales, telephone included in the bathroom, extra large quality towel, bathrobes and slippers,Umbrella in wardrobe,kettle,mini bar that was refilled everyday,expresso coffee machine with coffee pods, Large smart tv,in my previous review I was not trying to bad mouth this Hotel, all the negatives things I mentioned was about issues I had with my previous Hotel that we had to leave and in no way about the Dreams Resort and spa

This is the best all-inclusive I've stayed in. Certainly it beats anything of comparable price in the Caribbean. The food is outstanding. Especial mention to Chef Thanasis at the Seaside Grill and the Oceana seafood restaurant. His dishes look and taste like fine dining. We stayed in the Preferred Club ocean view rooms. I'd recommend them as worth the extra money for the location and the large glass balconies. Forget the swim ups - they aren't worth it with so many good pools, plus the sea to play in. The staff have been courteous and helpful. No problems at all. The landscaping is immaculate, with lots of floral scents and there are enough sunbeds with shade to avoid any need for competitive bed-grabbing. I should find a fault but I'd be nitpicking. It's extremely professional, everyone buys into it, and you feel the luxury throughout

Not the luxury experience it is portrayed to be for the money you pay. We booked directly with the hotel, they emailed ahead to find out our arrival time, and yet we still had to wait for our room on arrival as they had allowed previous guests to overstay. Lovely views, central location, but the rooms in the main building seem tired, noise from the electric box droning on. Air condition unit leaking and the balcony doors didn't close properly and felt flimsy. One evening a handy man knocked as apparently our shower was leaking through the ceiling in to the bar below. No dressing table, and although we booked a sea view, the biggest view was of the roof of the restaurant below. I was expecting several restaurants from the blurb, however what they dont mention is for dinner there are 3 choices. The buffet restaurant, or if you can get in them, the greek or the seaside grill. The Italian and the seafood restaurant are lunch options only. Pool areas lovely - staff around pool really friendly. Buffet restaurant busy, can take ages for drinks to come, food choice fairly good however. a la carte restaurants good food - especially in the greek restaurant, but good service can be very hit and miss. Entertainment poor, nowhere for people to sit in the main bar area. I would give 4 stars if it hadn't been so much money, but the money we paid for a week in low season, is not worth the experience you get. When they charge prices like that, they need to provide the experience to match, and this sadly falls very short. The experience in the grecotels in kommeno is far superior for a very similar price.

Location - Beautiful location and hotel grounds. Not much around it but just a 20 minute stroll to a marina and little pebble beach. Also 20 minute taxi ride to Corfu town. Hotel/Room - Everywhere was clean and staff friendly. We stayed preferred club so had a separate lounge with reception, drinks, food and free computer use. Double room looking out over the sea was spotless and huge. Balcony was large enough to have a table and chairs as well as room to lay out World cafe - Food varied and always fresh. Loads of different foods catered for. Asian night was fab. There is also a separate kids buffet, or English tourist buffet!!!, comprising of chicken nuggets. Yiayia - Amazing food just wished there had been more to chose from Barefoot grill - Pizzas were really good as were the French toast. Nice location looking out over sea and pool Pools - At the front of the hotel is a large pool with waterfall and fountains. Has a sun deck and an Italian there Infinity pool near beach and looking out over sea Preferred pool consisted of two long pools but not very spectacular If you are looking for somewhere to relax in luxury and not really leave hotel then this is for you Only cons I could see - Would not recommend to wheel chair users or mobility issues as situated on a slope Preferred lounge didn’t have much of a good selection and no mint tea bags

Just stayed at this hotel for the last 7 nights in a preferred club room in the preferred club block. The hotel itself was very nice the staff were friendly and helpful and attentive the food was nice but in the specialty restaurants menu was very restricted when they were open, the buffet was ok apart from the fact you had to avoid tripping over the pushchairs and wear ear plugs to drown out the sound of young children screaming because their parents had taken them to a country where it was far to hot for them the same applies to the swimming pool areas.As i said we stayed in the preferred club block which is meant for the use of club members only but all the security for this area was not working so anyone could walk into the pool area or the block our room was very nice apart from the fact that our bathroom floor was not clean properly all week because there were dirty footprints on it from the first day we got there to the day we left the shower area floor was dirty and the shower screen was not cleaned at all. The hotel’s mantra is for couples and couples with children unfortunately this wrong they cater for mainly people with children as if two adults stay in a room two children up to the age of 12 go free. This is not the first Hyatt brand we have stayed in but unfortunately this will be last time we stay in a dreams resort. I would advise any couples who want a quiet holiday go somewhere else.

A mixed experience for our family at Dreams. We were unlucky with some things but overall, there were too many ******* for this to warrant a 5* rating and we definitely wouldn’t return. Pros Lovely grounds, view and plenty of sun loungers. As a family, we felt that there were places at the pools and on the beach for when we wanted to move around. Though some loungers are on grass which was quite boggy and flooded at times. The Italian and seafood lunchtime restaurants were lovely. The Preferred Club lounge was great - good to be able to grab our own drinks and have a place to read/relax in a quieter space. Staff in here were lovely. We hired a pedalo on a couple of occasions and the sea/view/service at the watersports centre was great. The kids club was good - my daughter loved her few hours with the staff there. Cons We booked a front sea view bungalow and got a very poor room. Ours had a tiny glass balcony, overlooked in a group of 3 together. It had 2 chairs so we couldn’t order room service as a family of 4. It was nowhere near the beach (unlike all the pictures on Jet2 and Hyatt’s websites which showed beach access from a terrace - even their own website says that it would have beach access). We complained and had no apology or any sense of fixing the issue. They said we should have requested beach access if we wanted it… The two main pools are very cold. The preferred club pool was much better. We were given raw chicken at the buffet - in the live cooking section. All of us in our party had raw chicken kebabs (very raw). We saw other people saying that theirs were raw, too. We mentioned to the staff and they did apologise and spoke to the chef. We waited an hour to check in in a big queue and weren’t offered any drink/ refreshment- not even water. Very busy at the buffet at times. We were asked to wait in the bar one night, only to be forgotten. While waiting, we saw another family complaining about there being no space, only for them to miraculously find him a perfect table - we had been waiting 20 minutes at this point. The evening entertainment was poor in comparison to other resorts. The evening restaurants were fully booked for the week when we got there - we managed, in the end, to get a table at both restaurants by talking to staff. We really liked the seaside grill but the Greek restaurant wasn’t as good. We were given dessert menus and waited for 20mins trying to get staff attention to take our order - in the end, we got up and left and went to the buffet for dessert. We visited Dreams as a 40th birthday trip and found too many things disappointing. And not as good as other 5* resorts we have visited.

We have just returned from 10 days at this hotel and had the most amazing time. We arrived at the hotel after midnight and were welcome promptly and checked in. Check-in took a while but everything was covered and all question answered. We were then shown to the buffet restaurant which had remained open for us with bites to eat and we were also offered any drinks we wanted even though the bar and restaurant had closed. We were allocated rooms 658, 659 and 650 as had emailed prior to the our visit asking for a high floor and mentioned it was an anniversary. Rooms were large and very clean. Bathrooms were stocked with toiletries, bathroom scales and plenty of towels. Mini fridge was fully stocked with soft drinks, water and beer. All of which was re-stocked daily although we did have to ring down a few days as the minibar person comes around quite early to re-stock. Plenty of places to stores clothes, you can request more hangers if needed. Rooms had a hairdryer, steamer, robe, slippers. The safety deposit box was huge, and big enough for my large camera equipment, drone equipment, valuables and more with space. This was free to use. TV has chromecast so we could watch YouTube etc. Lots of charging points, both side of the bed, and under the TV which were USB and USB-C slots aswell as plug sockets around the room. Balcony was large enough and had a table and 3 chairs. Views were stunning over the bay/sea and you could see Albania on clear days too. Blackout curtains were good, but I did have to place pillows on the floor to block the light coming in under the curtains as the morning sun was very bright early on. Negatives with the room were the very bright flashing fire alarm which would light the whole room every few seconds, even with an eye mask you could see this. I know these are required for obvious reasons but maybe a change is needed so they aren’t so bright. We knew the fire alarms worked as the first 4 days of our stay they were off at 8am and again at dinner as we were above the kitchen. These stopped going off after a few days, so we believe this to be resolved. Hotel grounds were spotless and everything was kept so clean. All staff we encountered were very friendly and made our stay extra special. All pools have more than enough sunbeds, and even at 11am onwards there were plenty free. Very little reserving of beds at this hotel which meant we could have a lie-in each morning! Pool towels were abundant and available throughout the day as needed. We ate at the a la carte restaurants a few times, the Italian restaurant was really good food. The seaside grill was also very good with plenty of choices including steaks and fish. We ate lunch at Barefoot Grill which had fresh cold sandwiches and pizzas, again very good. The main buffet restaurant had excellent choices for breakfast, omelettes, fruit, yogurts, breads, pancakes, waffles, hot options. Lunch and Dinner in the main buffet were good but limited if you didn’t like fish or meats. We

We lived the Dream! Just arrived home from Dreams and can honestly say we were so sad to leave such a lovely hotel. We upgraded to a club seafront bungalow the day after we arrived. Our flight was late on the Sunday and we were in our new room by Lunch on the Monday. Views amazing, service around the club pool was amazing literally asked for a drink every 5 minutes by our lovely waitress, Lovely blonde woman with glasses ( sorry i’m rubbish with names). Strawberry mojitos were amazing! Such a lovely woman. We used the Club lounge most nights as we could help ourselves to drinks and take them to our lovely balcony and drink as we went to the room early due to our toddlers bedtime.. Drinks amazing, all branded amazing cocktails best i’ve had in all inclusive hotel. Amazing choice of drinks in general. Lovely food in the buffet restaurant. Al a carte booking was a bad point we couldn’t get into the grill and greek until our last few days. We didn’t enjoy either of them just not the same quality food as the buffet restaurant! Just our opinion! Fish restaurant really nice in the day and nice Fresh pizzas in the Italian. Staff absolutely amazing make you feel like you’re a family member!! Best Ever! It’s not Dreams in the caribbean, It’s not Ikos or Sani but it’s an amazing hotel for the price and one we’ve have looked at returning to later on in the year which we never do! I do think people need to set expectations around the price difference to above hotels and what suits you as a family. I would recommend upgrading to club if your budget allows it’s definitely 5 star ⭐️ without club maybe 4 plus but still a fantastic hotel. Happy to answer any questions ☺️ Minus points a few couples not liking children in restaurants etc. I actually had to say something to a man who shook his head as my 19 month old baby was pouring water onto his highchair. It was water in drips. We were in the room by 9pm most nights but it really annoyed me. If you don’t like children go to Adults only and don’t book the early slots in restaurants!!

We really enjoyed our week here, staying in a club beach front bungalow in a perfect position. Our accommodation was lovely and excellent housekeeping. Bed and pillows comfortable, great shower, hairdryer, clothes steamer, minibar, safe, some wardrobe and draw space but not the greatest space, bathrobes and slippers. Patio with small table and two chairs with such a beautiful view. Only a couple of steps and we were on the beach. Pool towels placed in room everyday. Minibar replenished 5 out 7days. Spent most of our time on the beach which we prefer so can’t comment on pools, but plenty of sun beds always. Drink service can be a little hit and miss if you are at the furthest point on the beach. We were staying in club so we had access to the club lounge which always had lovely friendly staff, drinks and snacks. Outdoor space is limited here. Breakfast and lunches were good with plenty of choice. I can’t comment on evening meals as we always prefer to go out and eat at local restaurants, plenty to choose from just outside hotel. The hotel is on a steep hill with lots of steps, but we soon found our way for shortest routes. Grounds and views are lovely. We had a lovely relaxing holiday and would definitely return, thank you all at Dreams Corfu for making such an enjoyable holiday.
