I highly recommend the Admiral Hotel. The location is exquisite. The Old Town of Gdańsk is at your fingertips, there are plenty of restaurants and attractions around. An ideal place to stay for two for a weekend or longer to spend a nice time in the historic center of Gdańsk. There is a small paid parking lot under the hotel, but there is a large paid private car park within 100m.
Breakfast very good, lots of choice.

Perfect hotel in the perfect location. We had a deluxe room and it's worth the little extra money it cost (we paid £51 via booking.com 4 months prior) in comparison to the basic room. We had a double bed, mini bar that was topped up daily with beer, vodka, Coke, orange juice, water and pretzels. A huge round bath, robe and slippers. Check in smooth even if it was a 7 hour delay in airport and a 2.30am unexpected check in time! All staff super friendly. Didn't have breakfast although the attached restaurant did look lovely. All in a a real good stay and a good choice as it was 2 min walk to cafes, supermarket, Costa coffee. And one street down to the start of Dulga main square Street.

Just turn left at the entrance, google navigation is a bit wrong. Asked to find. The breakfast was very good. There are two places in the room that need improvement. First, we stayed for two days, but on the first day, they didn’t come to clean until four in the afternoon. We all had a rest at the hotel. Of course, it was inconvenient to clean. Second, the hotel was very noisy and decorated. the sound of. I can't stay in the hotel during the day. The hotel is better, the location is good, go out is the ancient city.

This hotel is right inside the Golden Gate entrance to the Gdansk old city, so the location is super convenient for walking everywhere, and it is one stop on the tram from the train station. There is a lot happening on the street, but the room was quiet when the windows were closed. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we were glad we stayed there. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

Location was excellent. Safety excellent. Clean and well equipped. Microwave kettle and fridge all working with plates and cutlery for perusal. Unfortunately there is a nightclub or a pub near by. Tge music starts around 10.30pm and goes on until the 2/3am. I got no sleep. There is double glazing but this makes very little difference. Maybe if you're room was at the back it would be better.

The hotel left a good impression. Beautiful location in the historical part of the city, but 20 minutes from the center.
The staff is friendly.
Room and breakfast are standard.
The hotel can be recommended both for business trips and for tourist trips to Gdansk.

Stayed here a couple of times recently and it has some really good things going for it but also some things to be aware of. Great location 10/15 mins walk from two different railway stations and within 5 mins walk of a number 9 tram stop, so many options to get from the airport to the hotel across bus , train and tram. I used a combo of number 110 bus then changed to tram The hotel itself is very modern and has two separate buildings. One has reception and restaurant / bar and the other is just rooms and a roof top sky bar which gives good views and something different if it’s a nice night Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed, great beds and potential for a good nights sleep, big tv but only two English channels which both only show rolling news. Usb and euro plug points by bed, small fridge, big bathroom with a walk in shower was very nice. I only had breakfast which was a great selection and very tasty and I’d recommend. Now the bad bits, on my most recent stay I was in the second building on 3rd floor and was kept awake till 4am by a private party in the rooftop skybar, if it was keeping me awake I wonder how bad it was for people on floors 4, 5 and 6. Going by the volume it must have been nightclub volume in the actual bar but my main issue with it is that the reception staff and manager could not have cared less about the impact on residents which was very disappointing, clearly they value the revenue from private more than the revenue from residents. So I would really recommend people check there is not a private function on in this hotel before booking. As a diamond member I’d have expected to be housed in the main building aware from this noise and to have the staff actually be bothered I sent an email in with feedback that has been totally ignored as well as a shrug of shoulders from reception staff My message to hotel is do not take residents for granted as they simply won’t return after a bad experience like this I am also still having to chase IHG reward points from over one month ago which simply isn’t acceptable. In summary great hotel and locations but staff and management related issues

The hotel was lovely! We had a studio but next time would probably prefer to stay in the actual hotel rather than one of their other buildings! The staff were always super friendly and our room was very clean.
The hotel is a bit of a walk to the town centre but very manageable!

I stayed one night. The room is generally clean and the staff very nice and helpful. However, I was allocated a room on the ground floor, which smelled strongly of mold. The insulation of the foundations of the building, unfortunately, did not pass the exam and it turned out that it had already raised moisture on the walls and, unfortunately, you can still feel it. Therefore, as already mentioned, take rooms on the upper floors. Breakfast very good and varied.

Further inland is the vibrant city center, just a short walk away. Admire the iconic Crooked House or spend some time exploring the famous street of Ulica Bohaterow Monte Cassino with its lively vibe and selection of cafés, bars, and restaurants. Head back towards the sea whenever you want—take a walk on Europe’s largest wooden pier and climb to the top of the impressive lighthouse near it to take in sweeping views. If you are a culture buff, head to the Sopot Museum housed in a 20th century mansion. The maritime city even has its own Wax Museum and it is a fun place to visit with children as is the Aqua Park in the city with its indoor and outdoor pools.

This is a luxurious hotel with high standards when it comes to interior, the rooms and the exterior. The hotel is family- and children friendly whilst still performing above any noisy and crowded family hotel elsewhere. The location is perfect, only 20-25 mins from the airport in Gdańsk. 3 minutes walk to the beach. The ala carte restaurant in the hotel offers a great menu, above any nearby restaurant that we visited. The buffet is not as good as the ala carte. Choices at breakfast are endless. Spa is clean and nice, the hotel has a large backyard area for play, work out and recreation. The gym has a very high standard. This stay would be rated as excellent if it weren’t for the inattentive and sometimes unfriendly and impolite staff. We had no feeling of being appreciated as guests and did not receive any recognition for the VIP membership. The staff in general did at times seem annoyed with their job and one of the female bartenders even answered in a disrespectful manner when she forgot to include our discount on the bill. Not solution- or service oriented. If the service and attitude improves, this hotel can reach new heights.

Outstanding
MMichelleWe checked at the hotel about 9 am, but there may be no one checked in the night before, so the counter brother let us enter the room early (can not be asked, please do not unreasonable request) and sent a magnet for the appearance of the hotel at check-in. The milk sugar on the towel is super delicious.
The hotel is located next to St. Mary's Church, outside is Amber Street, there are quite a lot of accessories to choose to buy back as a gift, the price is not expensive and beautiful. 5-10 minutes walk is the square area, there are many restaurants and bars to choose from, not far from the river. Rossmann (similar to drugstore + supermarket) is available for a 3-minute walk to buy a variety of necessities.
It is a 20-minute walk from Gdask Gowny Railway Station. It takes about 10-15PLN by taxi. If you want to call Uber or Bolt from the hotel to go to other places, you must go to the periphery to set pickup point . .
The overall personal accommodation experience is very good, but the hotel may not be suitable for the elderly without elevator.
GGuest UserPros: Great location, less than 30 seconds on foot to Long Market.
Cons:
- There's some road construction, the Uber we took from the airport to hotel can't find way to hotel therefore he took several rides around, trying to find a way and in the end, we need to carry our luggage for few hundred meters on cobble stone road.
- The checkout time, according to the receptionist, is 11:00, not 12:00 as on Trip.com
- Since Uber driver can't find the right way to hotel, we asked the receptionist to call a taxi. She called a car (not sure if it's a taxi since there's no meter) and when we reached the train station (2 km away), the driver asked 35 zl for a trip on Uber cost 15 zl.
EEril Ken TravelsThis hotel is nice! Simple yet elegant. I had the chance to stay here on my way to Bydgoszcz. Staff are very friendly, accommodating, and polite. The hotel is clean, they change the towels everyday, and you can ask for your bed linens to be changed too. Breakfast is buffet style and there’s a great selection of food. The only problem is the hotel’s location if you are a tourist. The tourist spots are a bit far. But there’s a beautiful park nearby. All in all, this hotel is great! I enjoyed my stay!
GGuest UserEnjoyable stay. Check in was professional, quick and easy. Nicely decorated room with good lighting, comfortable mattress on the bed, excellent temperature control, clean towels and bed linens, mini refrigerator in room, good lighting, nice bath products, good water pressure in the shower, strong wifi signal, excellent proximity to the Gdansk Wrzeszcz train station. I was able to find curbside parking nearby for free although the hotel has parking available for a fee. There is also cheaper parking available nearby that is run by Galeria Metropolia. Plenty of shopping and food options in the area. Excellent stay.
GGuest UserVery pleasant stay. Check in was quick and easy. Room was cleaned well, nicely decorated, good lighting, comfortable mattress, clean towels and linens, refrigerator in room, free bottled water provided, good temperature control, good towels, nice bath products and good water pressure, great proximity to the Gdansk Oliwa train station. The only complaints would be lack of English cable stations (no CNN), I was unable to connect my HDMI device to the TV and some noises could be heard in my room from the hallway. Also there is currently a lot of street construction around the property. However, overall it was a great stay in a comfortable and inviting hotel.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a convenient location near old town and on a quiet street. The rooms are nicely furnished with a small sofa, a couple of chairs, a desk and good lighting. The bathroom was clean with good shower pressure.
We used the sauna and the pool which are in the next building over. When we went at night it was pretty busy, the changeroom is for both men/women but the showers are separated.
The hotel had plenty of street parking when we stayed so we lucked out - the hotel has paid parking for 80 PLN to park in their parkade.
We found there wasn't much near the hotel except for a handful of restaurants and a convenience store. Lots of restaurants and shops are within a 5-10 minute walk so it is convenient enough.
DDondimon75The hotel is located in 5-7 minutes by car from the center of Gdansk. More suitable for just staying overnight, next to there is a small supermarket, a restaurant. Hotel rooms are standard, there is TV, phone, bottled water, electric teapot with cups and cooking, large bed. The bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin, toilet cosmetic facilities, there is a fan. There is a free parking at the hotel, the Internet is good, there is also a small corner for the entertainment of small children. In the morning, the restaurant serves a fairly pleasant and delicious breakfast. The food is delivered to the rooms.
Nice clean hotel. Room was small but perfect for my needs. Yes it's a little noisy as situated in old town centre, hotel does provide ear plugs. Bed was comfy, shower was great. Room was kept clean everyday. Plenty of bars etc nearby. Can recommend the ww2 museum. Would stay again. For anyone travelling I can recommend using the Bolt app for taxis, all are prepaid to the destination via your card so no getting ripped off. Taxi from airport to hotel cost me about £8
GGuest UserI stayed here for three nights and had a good time. The hotel staff at reception, bar and housekeeping have been friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My room was quite, clean and comfortable, had a good size and was exactly as pictured on the home page. Only minus points are, that in some places the room could've used some renovation, but it was nothing major, nothing was broken or damaged. The location in the old town is very good, you can reach most sights by foot or tram from the station across the street. I'd definitely stay here again.
JJudyThis hotel is conveniently located in the heart of old town~ whether you’re walking to cafes and bars or shopping Centre or sightseeing or the shopping mall~ it’s all nearby.
For breakfast, there’s a little restaurant tat serves great quality food. Called Stodko Stone.
You’d sometimes hear drunken tourist making a noise so I’d suggest you request a room away from the Main Street.
