Hotel Wolne Miasto

A perfect location in a fantastic city. About a 10 minute walk to the main train station and 1 minute from the famous Old Town streets and attractions. Room was comfortable, bathroom was spacious. Immaculately clean. We really enjoyed breakfast especially all the salad selections, cheese and meat selections. Staircase is a lovely feature. We will definitely stay here again. Staff nice and helpful.

It’s a nice old hotel in a perfect location for sightseeing and all the local attractions. The local bars and restaurants are within walking distance. No frills hotel, immaculate rooms. No noise from the streets below. Highly recommend.

Staff friendly and helpful. Room was great and location was ideal would definitely go back again. We were bed and breakfast and the breakfast was also good we were in a delux room and we had dressing gowns, slippers and a complimentary mini bar

Fantastic hotel. From the minute you walk in you feel like you’re home. Great rooms, big beds, big bath and robes in our room. Eat the excellent food in the restaurant. Chef and barmaid went that extra mile to make our meal special. Will definitely be going back. Minutes walk from town and some great bars and restaurants. Definitely must go to Restauracja Dominikanska it’s amazing food.

Booked as it was close to Targ Wegovy Christmas market & it is - 2 mins away. However, definitely room for improvement. Curtains didnt close fully leaving about a 40/50cm gap - had to use a safety pin to close so I could ensure privacy and to shut out as much of the emerging daylight Not sure if because I had a lower level room which could have been over the kitchen esp on the sat evening to sun the room smelt of food. There is a pub/club near the hotel as on Fri & sat nights you could hear the edm. It was loud enough to hear but with my ohropax wax ear plugs I couldn't hear the music. Lastly, I travel ALOT & did not find the front desk staff friendly at all. Nearly all other hotels I've stayed at including your lower tier chain hotels, when you come and go the staff will greet you with "hi" or if you are leaving " enjoy your venture out", "have a good one", 'have a good trip" but here at Wolne Miasto - nothing. The friendliest person was the lady working sat night / Sunday morning as she was surprisingly chipper but even after checking out at 4am there still wasn't even an enquiry of " are you okay to find a taxi". If I was visiting for Christmas market, I would prob stay again with managed expectations, just for its proximity but other than that I prob would stay somewhere else. I'd rate this hotel 6.5 - 7/10 based on its location & proximity to Christmas market & food / drink establishments. PS I've been to multiple cities in Poland all with higher hospitality

Excellent staff throughout hotel. Rooms were neat & tidy. We had issue with no hot water on final night of a 7 day stay. We were moved to another room & hotel dealt with issue very quickly once they knew. Would certainly stay at fantastic hotel again...

Ventilation openings were dusty and dirty. Apart from this, hotel room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Location was perfect. Over all, nice hotel and would love to visit again.

I love this hotel, it is my favorite hotel in Gdansk. It is close to almost everything. It is however near a Nightclub so the nighttime can be active. The service and the housekeeping are so Nice and accommodating. The breakfastbuffet was Nice and alternative. The hotel is clean and neat. Blowdryer, robes, slippers, extra pillows and towels are on the room. A hotel I have been at before and Will definitely be at again.
