It was said that there was an epidemic, and breakfast was cancelled. The hotel is relatively cheap, but the facilities are very old. A very low chair, a fat sofa for a single person. There is a microwave and refrigerator. But the whole setup makes people go in and it feels like there's almost no room to walk. A decent table and two chairs, even without the sofa, would be comfortable. But only sleep. The lights are dim. On the next morning, there was a cockroach in the food bag. I suggest you try another hotel.

Quiet clean motel 1 block to the *****. Friendly staff. Remodeled room. New floors, paint, tv, fridge, vanity, shower/tub combo.

The hotel location was great. The lady at the desk was awesome. Was willing to go out her way to help us. The condition of the room was decent. Unfortunately I had to clean the AC vents to get the air to blow properly. Also had to kill five roaches, And the bathrooms had tons of mold. It was actually leaking out of the wall on the floor. There was mold on the sink as well around the walls but if you’re looking for a very inexpensive at a great location with good service, this hotel will be for you if you’re looking for a very cleanest , and you don’t have to be maintenance and pest control. This hotel will not be for you.

Very nice. Great price on rooms!!!! Friendliest staff. Check in was a breeze. We decided to extend our stay. Easy as can be. Snow came and went. Great trip. First night room was very quiet. Second night had some rowdy people down the hall. Room was nicely updated. New flooring, paint, TV, vanity and shower.

I absolutely loved this hotel! A great place to stay within walking distance of the ***** of Gatlinburg! It’s very clean, quiet, and the staff was very kind and helpful!

This was my fourth time staying at Howard Johnsons. The rooms have always been clean and very roomy. Check in all times have been good but this time the front desk clerk was not as friendly as before. Her personality was not the most warmest greeting. She wasn't bad but someone greeting the public needs to have an outgoing personality. Feel like she needs to try improving the way she greets people and act like she is enjoying her job. This in no way will stop me from staying there. Howard Johnsons has become one of my favorite places in Gatlinburg.

We were somewhat disappointed because we had stayed at the same property less than a year ago and had been impressed by that visit. This time we were sent to another part of the property with 3 floors and an elevator that creaked and groaned and made banging noises as we rode in it. Then neither the TV nor the phone worked the first day. Desk clerk came and checked out the TV but there was no maintenance staff available so we had to wait til next day. TV was then fixed but the phone never did work so we had to walk across the street to contact the office. Still a nice property for the price and onsite staff seems to be trying.
