Hotels near Xianshu Pavilion, Fuzhou

First time in China and we couldn't have been happier with the hotel. Safe, comfortable and location was in between everything. Staff were friendly and happy to help in planning trips and advice. Thanks to Vicky and Chris for showing us Fujian hospitality! Gym was spacious with a comfortable changing room, didn't use the pool but it looked good from the outside. Breakfast quality was decent but the Chinese food from the streets opposite was much better. Overall, highly recommended to stay here.

Very nice and comfortable hotel to stay in. Glad that the hotel is not full of cigarettes smell like the others I have been in during my trip. The location is also conveniently located near the metro station and shops and restaurants.

What is good/great about this hotel: Location is near small but charming Chating Park (5 minutes walk), and it's convenient to take bus and metro (Chating metro is about 10 minutes walk with rolling suitcase). Many quick-eat places, Luckin Coffee, and mini-market shops near the hotel entrance. Hotel breakfast is fine, with various pastries, good coffee, juice, and congee, plus other Chinese breakfast staples. (NOTE: Some non-Chinese guests may not like the breakfast, as it is not ”Western style”.) Can easily take bus/metro south, across the river to the former foreign concession area, which is interesting and enjoyable. Or, take the bus/metro or walk northwest to see the White Pagoda, 3 Lanes 7 Allys, etc. Hotel has a great bathtub, great shower, excellent hot water and water pressure! Blackout curtains make the room super-dark for late-sleepers. The bedroom is in a separate small room, and has its' own aircon, separate from the rest of the hotel room, so it cooled down very quickly--great on hot, humid summer day in Fuzhou. My room was very, very clean, but it smelled a little of cigarette smoke when I first arrived--I had to open the window for fresh air. Although the front desk staff (I dealt with 3 different people) don't speak English, but they are super-helpful and patient, and will use translation app to communicate well. What is not so good about this hotel: I booked a ”city view” room, but I got a 3rd floor room with a view of the street and a construction site across the street. No city view. :-( Met some other guests (Chinese) who said they had a very good view on the 8th floor. :-( Also, the entrance is confusing, as the hotel signs don't say Yunrui Hotel Fuzhou Three Lanes, Seven Alleys. However, the address is correct and is clearly marked by the door.

Pretty central location. Rooms are nicely decorated though it would be nice if there was an extra door separating the bathroom area from the bedroom. We travelled as a big family and all had rooms of various configurations on the same floor. There was a child of three in the group and they stayed in the family room - it was great, very cute with toys and a tent. She loved it so much she cried when she was leaving. Would recommend the family room for families with a young child.

Hygiene: The bathroom area is generally clean. The wash basin is outside the bathroom (the room we stayed in), and the wash basin is small and shallow. When washing, water splashes out, and the floor is full of water. Facilities: There was a sudden power outage early in the morning on the day of check-out, causing the water in the automatic toilet to splash out and splash all over me. Environment: There is municipal construction nearby, the noise is very loud, the automatic toilet flushes for no reason, and the hotel soundproofing is not good. Service: The service is poor and unenthusiastic. The toilet water splashed all over the floor. Before leaving, I asked the front desk to clean it up, but it was not timely. I urged them to come and clean it up. There was no apology for the sudden power outage in the morning and the toilet water splashed on me.

What a pleasant stay and such a delightful difference from the big hotel chains. A warm welcome by friendly staff to what I imagine a traditional homestead would look like, but with well renovated modern conveniences fused with traditional elements. Excellent location for sightseeing, a step away from the Bund, river tour and a short ride to the Three Lanes Seven Streets area. As a traditional homestead if you're looking for bacon and eggs breakfast not her but the dumplings, fishballs and pastries were great. This is the kind of place I will be looking to stay at in China whenever possible.

The hotel I stayed in on a business trip was really very good. The room was very quiet and clean. The breakfast was very good. I ate the local characteristics of Fuzhou. I could feel the local customs without leaving the hotel. I will stay here again on business trips in the future

Travel: The B&B is less than ten minutes' drive from the airport. It's quite cost-effective to stay here as a transit. The community is relatively remote, so if you don't mind, take a detour. Since it is near the airport and far away from the city, it takes two hours to get to the city by bus and subway. In the end, I spent 240 yuan on a round trip taxi to Sanfangqixiang. Although it was a bit expensive, I was satisfied with the snacks and the scenery. . Service: The store's service is very friendly and provides airport pick-up and drop-off service (this is what we need most). The driver was very polite and helped us carry the boxes, which was very touching; the girl who checked in was beautiful and diligent; the guy who came to the room to change the projector was also very warm and polite. Accommodation environment: The room is relatively clean and the items are relatively complete. See the pictures for details. Our family of three was transiting in Fuzhou and the stay was quite comfortable. Thank you Fuzhou for your tolerance and Fuzhou people for their enthusiasm. We will see you next time!

The hotel is very spacious with very complete and comfortable facilities. Apart from that, the hotel also provides a free shuttle bus from the hotel to Fuzhou Airport and vice versa. Very suitable for travelers who want to transit here.
