Yamamoto Ryokan

Located about a 5-minute walk from Nakasu, right by Exit 2 of Gion Station. It feels like a century-old inn, with a strong Japanese traditional vibe. The showers are on the first floor, and there are toilets on both the first and second floors. The rooms are traditional Japanese-style with tatami mats.

Close to Hakata Station. I enjoyed the clean breakfast and the unique experience of staying in an older building. Good value for money too.

Great location, very close to the subway and bus stops, and within walking distance to Hakata Station. The building has an antique, Japanese-style charm. The Shiba Inu is incredibly cute, very friendly, and doesn't bark unnecessarily. I looked forward to seeing it every day!

Dragging heavy luggage from overseas, I was amazed by how convenient it was to take the direct subway from Fukuoka Airport to Gion Station, right by Yamamoto Ryokan. The location is absolutely perfect. If you appreciate the aesthetic of Wabi-sabi, you'll find the comfort here unparalleled. The breakfast is delicious, and the bath is spacious. Thank you for providing the ultimate space and service.

It's a traditional Japanese room in a traditional Japanese house. Because it's so traditional, don't expect highly professional service. However, overall, it's quite personable, and this is my second time staying here. I still highly recommend trying it out if you're in Fukuoka.

A good ryokan with spacious baths and large rooms, and a fantastic location. The only downside is the poor soundproofing. It's good value for money and a great option if you've always wanted to experience staying in a ryokan.

The location is great! It's a very traditional Japanese-style hotel, so if you're looking for an authentic Japanese accommodation experience, this is a good choice. Just be aware that the restrooms and showers are shared.
