Premier Inn Isle Of Wight (Newport)

Very pleasantly surprised. Hotel was modern and clean and beds very comfortable. Staff were lovely and smiling which was such a nice change, especially the breakfast team who were a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was really good. Location lovely. Only issue was no WiFi. We trued to connect to the free option and to pay £5 for the upgraded one and couldn't connect to either all weekend. This really shouldn't be an issue in this day and age. WiFi is needed by everyone and should be included and reliable. I wasted loads of time trying to sort and reception couldn't help. They just told me it happens a lot and offered to give me the number to phone their provider myself!!! Erm no!

amazing staff friendly approachable and efficient. had lovely view of river from my bedroom window. beds comfy and can be bought from website. food and staff in adjacent beefeater amazing. only a stones throw from newport town centre so ideal location.

Scenic, relaxing and convenient riverside location within walking distance of everything I needed in Newport. Friendly and helpful staff who cared for my wellbeing. Comfortable, well aired and clean room. Overall, great value for the price paid for my stay.

The beds are cosy, the staff are accommodating and friendly, and the beefeater next door is great. The hotel is nicely situated if you want to travel around the whole island and only a 10 minute walk from Newport high Street. Liam was particularly helpful and ready to get any issues sorted really quickly. He's a great lad and super friendly.

Great location overlooking the waterfront. Clean spacious rooms. Very warm friend inviting staff. In particular Debbie has been amazing from pre booking to checking in. Only let down is the beefeater it’s a bit dated and limited in terms of food choices

Warm welcome by Deb and Dan at reception, going above and beyond the expected service. Comfy bed and a nice hot shower, a great stay.

Staff at the Premier Inn very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We had meals and drinks at the adjacent Beefeater restaurant which was clean and well maintained. Food very good and good selection of drinks. Bailey the barman was outstanding, did his job exceptionally well, and so did Sharon in the restaurant area.

We had three days here after a poor stay in the one in Oxford. What a difference. The reception staff always smiling and always acknowledging you when coming and going. Lots of free parking. The rooms were spotless and the staff could not do enough for you. The hotel is within a 10 minute walk of Newport town centre, where there are lots of restaurants and places to eat and drink. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would have no hesitation in returning soon.
