位置比較好，導航過去還是比較方便的，再往前走幾步，門面比較小。沒有停車場，旁邊的停車非常貴，下午4點停到第二天早上要19歐。就在市中心，旁邊比較好逛。定的舒適雙人房，房間不大，特別是廁所和淋雨很小，沒有空調，衹有一個不能轉頭的小電風扇。整體來説還算不錯吧。

This historic hotel is ideally situated in the old town in close proximity to all of the historic sites, shops and restaurants. It is close to the city gate and not far from Schlossberg (castle hill). Paid parking is available in a lot within walking distance (tricky to find - use GPS). Our 'standard double room' was clean and very quiet. Breakfast buffet was typical. The reason for the 3 stars is that the hotel lacked charm. I expected more personality from the "oldest hotel in Germany". Also, there is no reception desk per se. Merely a person at a computer at the end of the rather sterile bar on the ground floor. There were no issues checking in or out, however, I did not feel welcomed at any point. I hesitated to engage in any conversation about the hotel or the city sites. I had my own agenda so this wasn't a big deal, but very different from the other hotels across the country. I do recommend the hotel for location and cleanliness.

Sehr gute, zentrale Lage. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber aber ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Alles sehr düster und dunkel. Wir hatten ein Dachzimmer auf der Strassenseite. Durch die Strassenbahn und die Nachtmenschen war es nicht sehr ruhig.

Lage inmitten Altstadt sehr fußfreundlich. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten bestens erreichbar. Nicht jedoch das Hotel per Auto! Keine Vorfahrt. Keine Parkmöglichkeit. Somit nur hektisches Be- und Entladenen d Einchecken möglich. Nächste Parkmöglichkeit in der Schloßberg- Garage. Ca. 5 Min. zu Fuß. Zimmer: Sanitäreinrichtungen tiptop. Betten okay. Kein Holzfußboden. Dafür dunkelbrauner "Flokaki Verschnitt". - Frühstück nicht erfreulich. Personal hektisch bis unfreundlich. Angebot: nicht von hoher Qualität. - Abreise: Gepäck zum Parkhaus getragen bei starkem Regen. "Unpraktisch". - Werden dieses Haus nicht mehr buchen.

Der Rote Bär liegt mitten in der Altstadt von Freiburg am Schwabentor, wenige Gehminuten vom Münsterplatz und der Einkaufsmeile entfernt. Unser Zimmer im 2. OG war mittelgroß, bequeme Betten und funktional eingerichtet. Ein Lift befindet sich im Haus. Relativ großes Badezimmer mit Dusche und genügend Abstellraum für Toilettenartikel. Es gibt ein gutes Restaurant im Erdgeschoss (reservieren). Das Personal ist freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Sehr gutes und frisches Frühstücksbuffet. Eine Straßenbahnhaltestelle befindet sich vor dem Haus. Einziger Minuspunkt: sehr kleiner Balkon mit durchsichtigem Gitterrost - nichts für Menschen mit Höhenangst.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer der Kategorie deluxe Gartenhaus. In dem Zimmer fehlte das Flurlicht. Nur Fassung und Leuchtmittel - ohne Funktion. Der Badezimmerspiegel lag nur auf der Ablage ohne Befestigung. Die Fugen an der Tür waren derart schlecht gemacht, daß es störte. TV Gerät hing schief an der Wandpaneele. Blick zum Innenhof(?) mit Geräusch einer Wärmepumpe bzw.Klimagerät. "Balkon" derart ungepflegt und im sog. Gartenhaus deutlich verschmutzte Scheiben. Schlechtes Klima im Zimmer bei allerdings hohen Außentemperaturen.
