It's a good place for a business trip. It's clean, has good service, free parking, and the bathroom is big enough. It also has a balcony. The bedding is clean and has no smell. It's convenient to eat nearby. As long as you can make blind bookings, Marriott rarely makes mistakes. , the price is not expensive either

Check-in was quick and easy. We were greeted by Flavia, who was very polite and helpful in answering our inquiries.
Although there are some renovations on-going in areas, we found our room Immaculate.
I would gladly stay again the next time we come to Fort Lauderdale.

I booked a particular room with a larger size bed, which to my amazement, was given away to another patron. That maneuver is extremely unsatisfactory in my book and very deceptive as a hotel chain. The desk attendant stated something to the effect of your room was not reserved until you check-in. I have never received this type of message before in all my travels. While the hotel overall was satisfactory, that experience alone left with with nothing but a sour taste.

The front desk was rude when we reported a problem. There was no microwave in room. The coffee maker made one cup at a time and had to be unplugged to turn on and off. The roll away bed barely fit in room. The wifi was not password protected and did not work most of time.

Pro:
The hotel is beautiful, clean and well located. Bed and Pillow is good too. The staff make a good job. future at your hotel.
Cons:
Insonorisation between rooms is poor. I heard TV in the next room. People from your hotel come to see but even knocking at the other room door, nobody answers. So he can do nothing. He offer to me to sleep in other room but It's not nice to transfer room.
Light is very strong in the room, I appréciate but in the morning or late in evening, It will be nice to have gentle light.
Light in the bathroom is very bright, It's a good thing too but when we go in the bathroom during the night, is not very useful with the motion detector.
Motion detector is not the best idea when girl take a shower and try to rinse her hair and the light turn off. Because it's very long to rinse long haire due to low pressure and water debit.
So it's a lot of small details but when you add all of this details, I can't give a good score.
The major problem is the insonorisation between room. If you have a bad client in the room next to, bad score will happen.

I like the property and the location. This last stay the balcony was not as clean as it should be due to pigeons camping out there.

We stayed for surgery and recovery. We told the agent this at check in. She put us on a floor where most construction work had been completed, but we could still hear all the noise. We were also told at check in that construction would stop on the weekends; however, construction did not stop on the weekend we were there. It made recovery and resting very difficult.

The property is under severe reconstruction, the contractors were actively knocking and banging. The condition of the hotel does not match the pictures on *******. The hotel is small and old and outdated. It sits right on the corner of a very busy highway intersection.
