Great place,excellent location,helpful staff. this is our 3rd time ive stayed, the rooms have been clean and the shower great! Good breakfast too. Smashing lounge area,bar, and grounds. Choice of evening meals, coffee and tea available at all times.

Very bad experience: - Blood stains on the bed. - The establishment charged us a full £200 meal for 13 people because we were stranded for 6 hours on the Isle of Skye due to a serious accident. We had notified them in advance but they refused to accommodate, claiming they had already prepared everything (we notified them 3 hours prior to being stranded, and confirmed the cancellation 1 hour before).

Very comfy, clean room and ensuite facilities. Staff were friendly and treated everyone as individuals. Our stay enabled us to complete the Great Glen Way. We will definitely be back. Perfect location for lots of activities - great local beer too. Free tea and coffee was a treat, a very welcome one.

Great welcome and staff went above and beyond to cook me a meal although it was a little bit late for food. Breakfast good value and range compared to other hostel breakfasts with hot tasty porridge. Roomy fridge, boiling water tap, lockers on the landing. For a cyclist it was fantastic- hosepipe, secure bike shed with racks inside and a drying room.

Morag's Lodge was a great choice of accommodation for my wife & I as we cycled the Great Glen Way! The well priced room provided us with lots of space, great beds, an excellent shower, & a room that was spotless & tidy. We had a locked shed for overnight bike storage too. The morning buffet breakfast provided everything we needed to start our day fully fueled. On top of that, the entire staff were super-friendly & helpful. We were lucky enough to share the hostel with a school group from Poland, businessmen & GGW walkers. What a perfect mix of people to create an ideal hostel atmosphere. We highly recommend Morag's Lodge to others! Thanks to the team at Morag's Lodge!

Our 2 night stay at Morag's Lodge was a great rewrite of early hostel experiences for some of us. From check in at 4pm, we found Morag's to be a fantastically friendly place with a relaxed yet totally organised vibe. We had great meals (check when orders need to be in by) and fun times in the cosy bar. With comfortable beds, warm rooms and hot showers, lovely lounging areas, drying room and well stocked self catering kitchen, Morag's is a true delight. We'll be back...

Very good facilities and really friendly staff, with a nice relaxed atmosphere. You can hang out in the bar in the evening and get breakfast and dinner too. It is in a great location surrounded by trees and in easy walking distance of the bars and restaurants in the town.

Customer service was excellent. The staff made our visit special by being friendly and warm. The hostel has lots of partitioned areas so different groups can have their own space. There are many comfy sofas, a bar area and a dining area which give a great deal of flexibility. The kitchen and drying rooms are quite small but they provide food which is tasty (and they provide butteries for breakfast). The hostel is well situated and the location is great. We found it very quiet even when there were quite a few people in.
