The suite is spacious and clean! It’s about 15 mins walk from the station (Firenze SMN) and very close to the main attraction. Lady in the reception is SUPER nice and helpful. She answered WhatsApp promptly even if it’s late. She also recommended some good restaurants nearby (Restaurant La Ménagère is great, atmosphere is chill). We enjoyed the stay, thank you Residence Hilda!

Large area, good location, convenient for shopping

This hotel is very tall, the suites are very spacious and tall, the bathrooms are newly renovated and very clean, the dining room and kitchen are complete with cooking utensils and the kitchen counters are clean and tidy; the bedrooms are bright and comfortable. The room is decorated with many watercolor paintings, the style of painting is light and elegant, and I took a few landscape paintings. I really like this room. Highly recommend this hotel.

The location is very convenient, and you can walk to the main attractions. When you are tired of shopping, you can go back and put down your shopping bags to rest. In addition, there is a Chinese restaurant downstairs, which is cheap and good, with large portions. The room is large, the facilities are not new, and it is comfortable enough if you just stay overnight.

The experience here has never been better. After the wedding, I felt comfortable and safe in Italy, a strange country. Clean room condition and friendly service touched my couple. If I find Florence, Italy, again, I would like to spend a few days here. Always be healthy :)

Residence Hilda exceeded our expectations, and we have been traveling to Florence for forty years. The location is excellent as one may easily access the Piazza Duomo, the Uffizi, the Ponte Vecchio, etc, but one may enjoy the less crowded neighborhoods in the opposite directions as well. The receptionist/manager is a perfectionist in the ways that matter, and she has a Florentine's sensibility and taste. The entryway, elevator, stairs, floor, and suite were spotless and charming but not cloying. Our suite was extremely spacious and well-appointed, with a well-stocked kitchen, an ironing board and iron stored in the bedroom closet, a giant bathtub, unusual in Italy, and a shower. There were large windows in the bedroom and the kitchen, with optional "black-out" curtains.

The total experience was wonderful!! From the receptionist to our apartment everything was thoughtfully provided . From furnishings to kitchen appliances we had more than enough cooking and serving items . Bathroom products were replenished with our daily cleaning service. It was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. Will definitely be returning. A special thank you to Marjana , receptionist, for her kindness and advice on places and restaurants to visit. Did I mention coffee and pastry shop Next door, another plus.

Our second stay at Residence Hilda, as we love the location with an easy walk to the Duomo and other great sights in Florence. Also, there are plenty of great restaurants, one being across the road as well as a pasticerria downstairs. Only complaints are that the hair dryer hose was attached to the wall and gave little heat or air. It's like the type you found in an old budget motel from the 80s. The appliances were not much better needing to boil water on the stove for a cup of tea. The room and prices reflect boutique luxury. If a bit more could be done to make the stay more comfortable, it would be great.

Our stay was wonderful. Beautiful, clean apartment. Great shower, and enough space for 3 people. Staff was very helpful and accomodating. The location was also very good. Full equiped kitchen. I will definately stay there again if I visit Florence again.

Our stay was a wonderful, from location to amenities provided by Hotel Hilda . Apartment was spacious, comfortable, clean and nicer than the pictures. Marjona is a treasure so welcoming with tips of places and restaurants to visit. Looking forward to my next stay.

A wonderful apartment set in a perfect location for enjoying the delights of Florence. We could not fault anything and the service we received was prompt and personable. Set at the quiet end of one of the main streets leading to the city centre, within ten minutes stroll of all the main attractions

This is luxury with the touch of hominess. We can't say enough about the Residence Hilda!!! The whole experience was exceptional. There are those little things like heated floors in front of the shower that we appreciated. Hilda is located near San Marco and our favorite part of Firenze because of the location is to near museums and wonderful restaurants . It is an easy to walk anywhere in the city. The personnel are amazing!! They care so much that you have the best experience at Residence Hilda. We had issues with canceled flights and they were helpful and accommodating. We lived in Firenze for three years and have returned several times since. This is by far the very best place we have stayed. We love Residence Hilda!!!!
