THB Felip - Adults Only

The hotel is near one of the must-do tourist spots (Drach Caves) so in terms of walking distance to the place this hotel is great. Also close to the beach, restaurants and shops, very convenient in the west coast. Lobby is spacious and cool. There are free drinks at the bar as a welcome gift. The hotel has a gym, a swimming pool and a massage salon, very well equipped. Room is spacious and comfortable. The only shame is the booking site shows only beautiful seaview rooms but my room doesn’t have any view (face the wall of another building). Overall still a good experience.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at the Felipe and were absolutely blown away by the level of care and love we were shown from the staff. When we arrived we had one of the annex rooms booked, which are more budget friendly but absolutely better than some other reviews would have you believe. The room was impeccably clean and had a lovely street adjacent balcony. The bathroom was also immaculate and the shower was equal to anything that one might expect from a four or five star hotel. If you’re on a budget this is a brilliant option. The lovely manager Sara upgraded us to one of their premier rooms for a very reasonable price and we had a gorgeous sea view overlooking the port. The room was perfect for a couple’s stay. Sara also sent us up a bottle of Prosecco which was a very classy and personal touch. From this moment on the style and class of the Felipe was clear. The facilities in the hotel are gorgeous and I would be amiss not to mention the lovely massages and spa which we made great use of. The breakfast is the best breakfast we found in Porto Cristo and was also the best priced. The bar is quality and classy as you’d expect given everything else I’ve just written. I could not recommend the Felipe enough. Absolutely top class staff, facilities, food and rooms. If you have booked an Annex room don’t be put off by other reviews you will read online. They are modern and for the price they are a bit of a steal. The sea view room was well worth the upgrade and regardless you will have access to all of the hotels facilities. Thanks Sara for making our honeymoon so special.

We booked this place last minute and didn’t have any clear expectations. We couldn’t believe our eyes when we woke up and saw what the hotel itself and the place where it is located. Porto Cristo is a very calm and absolutely beautiful village. The hotel is situated right at the main beach, and if you get the room with the sea view balcony, you will see the beach and the bay from your room. The spa facilities are solid. The hotel is quite small, so the spa is not massive, but it is well kept and has all you need for a relaxing afternoon. Me made the use of the swimming pool, the steam room and the sauna. The masseuse called Sara was lovely and very professional. Another Sara, the manager at the reception, made our holiday. She is very friendly, well organised and with great energy. In general, the staff were lovely, very helpful and very professional. The breakfast was not included to our package but we ended up having breakfasts at the hotel anyways just because they were objectively better than anywhere else in town, very complete and very tasty. I have rarely seen this variety of breakfast stuff. Only regarding cheese, there were eight different types of it. The bread was fresh. All the options for full English breakfast. Lots of fruit and granola and-dons, etc.. We will definitely be back!

Just come back from another stay at the THB Felipe and it was as good as ever. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Sara, Marienne and Jose on reception. Mind you all the restaurant and bar staff are friendly as well. The food is good and varied. The hotel is kept clean and tidy all the time, the cleaning staff do a good job. Porto Cristo is a really nice town perfect for a relaxing holiday. I am going back to the THB Felipe next month with my son he loves the place too.

We really enjoyed our holiday in Porto Cristo staying at the Hotel Felip for 11 nights on a half board basis. We had a sea view room in the main building which we would definitely recommend. Everything we needed was so near. We had boat , and bus trips to other places along the coast and the taxi rank was close ,as were the useful small supermarkets.The view from our room was beautiful with the beach and the Marina. We enjoyed all that Porto Cristo had to offer and it is a little gem of a place in Majorca. The staff were excellent and we particularly want to mention Sara on reception who was pleasant, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and Silvana who made us delicious coffee each breakfast time . We really enjoyed our meals ,although we did feel that the guests would appreciate being able to read the main courses described ,on a notice board before entering the buffet dining area as so many of us were having to peer very closely at the little cards placed in front of the food. It would be more hygienic and save time when queuing and then wondering what to choose. The other thing that surprised us was that on arrival at the hotel there isn’t any kind of ramp to help guests arriving with suitcases that had to be carried up several steps. We also observed members of staff having to carry a snack bar up and down the steps each day to reach the pedestrianised area outside the hotel . We appreciate that if we asked then we would have been given assistance ,but surely these days accessibility for all including guests requiring a wheelchair should be provided. Our overall visit and stay at the Hotel Felip was generally delightful. OK the Wifi could be improved but the sun shone each day for us and we really enjoyed our time in Porto Cristo staying at the Hotel Felip and we have many happy memories. It would be our hotel of choice for a future visit.

Porto Cristo is a beautiful place, and The Felip is a wonderful hotel. I have stayed in many places and hotels in Majorca since 1990s. The rooms are not too big, but the staff and everything else at this hotel are excellent. Paco runs a faultless bar and Isabel, Mercedes, and Silvanna are the most professional staff you could wish for. Enjoyed my stay so much last May, We have booked to go again in June.

Good food, service and beer. As cheap as any of the restaurant's with (in some cases) better food. Rooms much bigger than I was expecting and scrupulously clean. Excellent views over the bay with a lovely terrace to sit and watch people and boats go by. Nice sunset. If cold, you can sit inside and look through the floor-to-ceiling windows... Chefs always willing to please.

The main hotel itself is lovely, staff very pleasant. However we booked the budget option in the ‘Annex’ part of the hotel which is a separate building behind the hotel in the backstreets. The first room (320) was horrendous , was damp with a view over some panel blocks with crumbling balconies with laundry and had a squeaky bed in it. We complained at the reception and were moved to the front back street view of the annex. I never felt more ‘budget’ in a hotel before tbh. Food was lovely and the location and the spot of the main hotel is brilliant, close to the bay in the front; on Saturdays there was a market with local produce. Overall it is a lovely hotel but if you are on a budget you’ll be feeling here more than elsewhere, so if you can choose opt for the main building to avoid disappoin**ent.
