The location is not so close to the downtown but nearby the southsea. The breakfast is good. However, the cleanness remains an issue because of the dirty bedsheets.

Breakfast was decent and I had a nice meal in the evening where the Chef accommodated my requests. Room was comfortable and I would stay again if I'm in Portsmouth.

Nice hotel with pool and sauna. Enjoyed our stayed there and had a lovely time. Great location and few minutes away walk to the beach. Will come back again to stay.

Front desk not too friendly with Chinese faces… the hotel is old… sink inside the toilet looks old and dirty… limited choices with breakfast… even white bread was out by 9 am… worth to praise is the waitress at the tea is nice 👍🏻quite a lot of parking spaces though still full … the room is a bit stuffy but is good that the windows can be open … noisy with neighbors going in and out of the room … overall : I think I will try another holiday in express but not this one …

I finally have time to objectively evaluate the Holiday Inn in Portsmouth.
Service: It was my problem that I got the wrong date when I checked in, but the poor communication attitude of the front desk (a middle-aged and elderly woman) was also incredible. It was the first time I saw a hotel receptionist throwing something at me and I rolled my eyes. I said I wanted to complain to her, but she was actually the hotel manager. If service can be a negative score, I would definitely give it a negative score. And it can't be canceled, which completely changed my impression of holiday inn. At the same time, please give some advice from netizens on how to complain.
Facilities: There are no wardrobe doors and the door locks are very crude.
Hygiene: Trash in ventilation ducts says it all
In addition, Ctrip's customer service has tried its best to communicate, and this hotel hopes not to cooperate again.
