Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa - Deluxe All Inclusive

The hotel's service attitude towards Asians is not very good, but it is completely different for foreigners. About half of the employees are Mukou Mumen, which is definitely not comparable to traditional five-star hotels. It was clearly stated that there would be 30 minutes of free photography, but we spent a lot of time dressing up, and then only took 8 minutes of photography. The photographer had to ask us to confirm whether to purchase before deciding how much time to spend shooting for us. They treated us differently according to gender. We originally wanted to purchase the photos. But he had to ask us to choose how many photos to buy before taking photos for us, which was really bad. In the end, we decided not to buy any photos. Restaurant staff are often eager to take away your tableware. Even though it is an all-you-can-eat meal, half of each meal has been consumed. When you want to order the next dish, the staff comes to take away the tableware. Overall, there are too many ***** here and this hotel does not deserve such a high score.

We chose Emerald Faarufushi Resort as the destination for our honeymoon, and it turned out to be an absolute dream come true. Our 4-night stay at the Beach Villa with Pool, coupled with the exceptional service of every staffs, as well as our wonderful host, Kunal, made our honeymoon an experience beyond compare. As we stepped onto the pristine shores of the resort, we were instantly captivated by the ethereal beauty of our Villa. The villa, adorned with luxurious amenities, seamlessly combined modern comforts with the natural allure of the Maldives. The private pool, surrounded by lush greenery and mere steps away from the sparkling ocean, offered us moments of intimacy and tranquility. Throughout our stay, Kunal, our gracious host, deserves special commendation for making our stay truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm that instantly made us feel at home. Kunal's attention to detail was impeccable, and he went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our honeymoon was flawless. Kunal made us feel like royalty, and we are immensely grateful for his genuine and personalized service. The Resort also offers a plethora of activities and excursions, and we took full advantage of the water sports and snorkeling opportunities to explore the breathtaking coral reefs and encounter exotic marine species. Each adventure was expertly organized by the resort, ensuring our safety and enjoyment at all times. The culinary experiences at Emerald Faarufushi Resort were simply sensational. The resort's restaurants and bars offered a diverse range of delectable dishes, each prepared with the finest ingredients and presented with artistic flair. Beyond the exquisite dining experiences, the resort's attention to sustainability and environmental conservation added an extra layer of significance to our stay. Overall, this is heaven of heavens that I cannot recommend enough.

We returned to Emerald after having the best time last year and once again it exceeded our expectations. The staff make the experience all the more special and it was amazing to see that all of the staff from last year were still there. The resort has had some upgrades - menu upgrades/changes, more excursions on offer, mini golf course, extended kids club hours, hire of a go pro and some special experiences for repeaters eg personalised bikes and private dinner on the beach. All the staff you meet are just incredible. The bar and catering staff exceeded all expectations again and our Villa host Nana and resort manager Rao were always on hand to ensure our stay was as perfect as last year. New drinks were always offered to us and different cuisines daily in the buffet with the most incredible spread for Easter Sunday and cocktail party to start the evening. The chefs really outdid themselves. The buggy drivers were very knowledgeable of the local area. Our Villa housekeep (Irman) left some really creative and fun towel designs which the kids loved to come back and discover each evening. The staff we would like to give a special mention to - all the 13 members of the bar team the names of which I cannot remember as some are not front facing. Manish and Ronak made some incredible drinks and Arun, Sundar, Sonu always on hand and super attentive. In the buffet, the chefs Krushna, Kelum and Fernando put on incredible food for us along with Mirasol, Prasun and Prijesh making awesome breakfast. The restaurant staff worked tirelessly during our stay included Priyanka, Azeem, Izad, Kasun, Yasir, Appe, Anoof, Alhan, Ahmed. The Somelier team lead by Joseph is exceptional and it was so lovely to see Ram joining the team. Our experience at the Teppinyaki was the perfect end to our stay - chef Sudarshan is extremely talented and Pradeepa had such a lovely style about her. In the spa my daughter and I had the exceptional care of Mita and Kiki. Such a peaceful setting they are created there. The snorkelling this time as we were a bit more adventurous was incredible just off the jetty; and unlike last year we saw so many reef shark by our Villa and also by the shore. We spotted dolphins, sting rays and reef shark from our over water Villa also and an incredible array of fish from the jetty. Photos enclosed. Enjoyed great service on the island over the past few days. Our housekeeper, Elite, was particularly good. Pradeepa, the restaurant staff, also provided exceptionally good service. We were lucky to go out to sea today and see dolphins.

Amazing service, great experience. Service outstanding, staff is great and always there for you. amazing experience and as a travel agent definitely resort to go for. Restaurants are great, service is amazing. Wine and drink selection is good.

Emerald Faarufushi Maldives is a fantastic resort with spacious and beautifully designed Sunrise Side Water Villas. The food is amazing, the staff are friendly, and the unlimited alcohol and nightly singing add to the enjoyment. Additionally, the coral reefs are perfect, and the ocean is shallow and safe near the water fronts. Highly recommended for a memorable vacation!

I stayed at the Emerald Faarufushi, a very beautiful structure with an excellent location and impeccable service, attentive to every customer need. Efficiency of our friendly house keeping Wayne. Excellent Kunal in Villa host who accompanied us for any questions and wishes during the stay. Beautiful and organized spa. I could never forget the great chef Moreno Casaccia who spoiled us with his tasty dishes from lobster risotto to ravioli and the delicious fish tartare with a truly excellent quality of ingredients. I want also thank all the staff who made this holiday unforgettable.
