If you are into places with beautiful surroundings, birdsong and few people, this place is a must. Staff are friendly, views of the river relaxing and the general atmosphere is one of escape. There are no frills, and you have to make your own bed and bring your own beer, but that's fine by us. The food is not fancy, but it is tastey. The masala chai is amongst the best we've had in India, made with a special mix and not drops! If you're into kayaks or push bikes, they're available...though its too hot to do much after 10H00 and before 16H00. Indian pita are in the "camp-site" and not hard to see. Altogether a find, and if we ever come back to Kerala, we will be back.
