The criteria I rate hotel on are: comfort of the room, the safety and cleanliness of the building, location to what I need, the staff. We stayed at Fairfield Emporia VA on a road trip. It was very convenient to 95. It was easy on/easy off the highway. Free breakfast was offered so we didn’t need to eat at any of them local places. The breakfast had a nice option of both hot and cold options. The hotel was clean and safe. The room was very comfortable. I loved the bed! The only interaction I had with the staff was at check in. The person who checked us in was wonderful. He was professional and friendly. Next time I’m on a road trip and need an overnight stop I would stay at Fairfield emporia again.

We enjoyed our stay at the inn as we have the past two times we have stayed here. It's in a very good location. The room is comfortable. The staff is pleasant. You are able to walk to Crackle Barrel which is next to the inn to relax and eat good food.

In a small city in Virginia, just off Highway 95, most of the guests are driving overnight. The scale is small, but the sanitation is good, the breakfast is also rich, it is worth recommending.

I hate being away from home. But as my work takes me out of town, it’s nice to find a hotel that makes being away more palatable. The Hampton Inn in Roanoke Rapids fills that bill. I love arriving on Sunday because it’s likely that I will see my favorite attendant, Raquel Harvey with the extremely warm smile, and efficient check-in. She makes sure that I have the appropriate corporate code for discount. Now I am not going to say I love hotel breakfasts, but they do save time and get you started in the morning. First time staying with this hotel and the customer service was excellent. Great room service as well, everyone was polite and respectful during my whole entire stay. The breakfast was great as well and was always fresh.
