This is the flagship house of the Servigroup hotel chain, which has more hotels along the Spanish Costas. It fully complies with its five-star rating. The location is unique and wonderful, on top of a rocky cliff near the village of Villajoyosa, halfway between Benidorm and Alicante. Viewing the sunset from your room, from the hotel pool, or even from one of the two beaches is a fantastic experience. The main beach can be reached via a system of escalators and offers basic comforts: sunbeds and sunscreens can be rented, and the beach is stony, somewhat chaotic, and access in the water is quite steep. There is a small but very busy bar/restaurant with some local food that doesn't belong to the hotel. The other beach offers no comfort and is aimed at nudists. Rooms are spacious and offer all the comfort you need for a shorter or longer holiday: super beds, big bathrooms, desk, chairs, balcony, fridge, etc. Hotel staff is helpful and friendly. One of the real pleasures is the restaurant with truly excellent food, great service and reasonable prices. We had the half-board option for a week and that proved super value for money. The hotel has its own parking garage, which can be booked at additional cost. Two minor points of criticism: The room cleaning service is not always satisfactory and attentive. And it is really a pity that the hotel doesn't operate a small service at the beach. But these are really minor points. We had a fantastic holiday in a wonderful place. 10 out of 10, even if it's 99 out of 100.
