We came to this hotel since few years and it was out 6th stay there. The location is nice, beach is in walking distance (15min). The quality of the rooms differs, what is caused by ongoing changes due to the covid closing. All the stuff is super helpful and friendly also Sue, the owner is super nice person. The offered breakfast is nothing special, but good. In the past it was a very calm place, perfect to relax and recharge. So far so good ... Obviously the management decided to offer events in the evening, open to the public - just guessing, this is needed to refresh from the business consequences of the lockdown. While our stay (12 nights) there had been 4 events, kind of mezze dinner with Turkish music, starting at 8pm to midnight. Indeed there are many people that like that. For sure, the singer is excellent and dedicated to his music. Instead of chilling on the bar as in the past we escaped to the balcony. Finally this was acceptable. Ear plugs helped to sleep. On one day we cam back from sports activities to make an afternoon nap. We already noticed booming basses from the road to the hotel. Arriving there, a kind of EDM party was running with rich kids audience from anywhere. Sleeping if with ear plugs wasn't possible by the club or festival volume used for the music. I contacted the owner, when this will stop and she promised us as well as to all the other guests (typically retirees from UK) that it will stop at 10pm. All escaped to nearby restaurants. When we cam back 10:15 music was still running at same volume. We went to the organizer to stop, finally it was close to a fight - absolute no-go. After this experience we will never come back to our beloved mountain view hotel. For a real relaxing I wouldn't recommend this hotel anymore. If you like evening events, it might still be right choice. Maybe before booking check back with the owner what events you can expect.
