The first trip to Rapa Nui with our 10-year-old daughters and the 1-year-old girl was a little worried by the host Tiare Rapu long before our trip to the island. When I arrived at the airport I was waiting for us with a beautiful flower collar and the transfer to those beautiful cabins that make you feel better than at home. The room is large, air-conditioned, the room does not provide a kettle and refrigerator, and is shared in the front desk lobby. There is wifi and the speed is OK. Hotel location is good, it is convenient to go anywhere, there are many restaurants nearby, and it is very pleasant to hang out on the beach. Breakfast is provided, food is OK, coffee is average. It is very convenient to book the Moai itinerary at the front desk when you check in.

Excellent service and attention from Mrs. Rosa, who welcomed us, welcomed us and guided us through all our queries, as it was our first time there. She answered our questions, guided us through the tours, and even managed everything to make it easy for us. Very kind, understanding and attentive, she made us feel comfortable and safe. Her human quality is greatly appreciated, since many times you find people who are parsimonious and dry when responding and she is the complete opposite. The place is nice, very clean and comfortable. They have a recycling area which stood out greatly. We were in cabin 3, equipped perfect for a couple. The fully equipped and comfortable kitchen. We recommend the place 100%. If we went again, we would not hesitate to go to Anakena cabins.

Okay not all the rooms have air con so please check if this is important to you but the room was a good size, clean with a modern bathroom,. It might not have all the facilities of a major, larger hotel but what it lacks it makes up for in service. The hotel is family run. They serve a very nice continental breakfast on the veranda along with cooked eggs on request. They transfer you from/to the airport which is about a 15 min walk (it's a small island !). Where they win hands down is in the tours that they provide. It surpasses all the predetermined tours, being totally bespoke to take into the mix and wishes of the residents.
