The mattresses are the worst I’ve ever slept on..staff was nice..everything clean..but trying to get a good nights sleep was impossible..

Walls are thin. Can hear everything that is going on in the rooms next to you. Not great at 3am. People above us had kids that were running and jumping off the beds until late at night.
The hotel is very nice and clean. Staff was very attentive. Our experience was just not the best it could have been.

While checking in, the person at the front desk was very friendly. However, as part of the check in process, we were informed that pets, stealing and property damage were not allowed in the hotel. Upon entering our room, we were hit in the face with a cleaning chemical smell that smelled similar to two chemicals being mixed together that were not compatible. The beds were squeaky, the walls looked damp, the shower was stained and the cover to the AC was hanging off of the unit. We were in the room for less than 5 minutes and my son with asthma started coughing due to the odor. We did not attempt to get another room as we wanted nothing to do with the hotel at this point. Knowing our booking was non-refundable, we left the room, passed the front desk, got back in the truck and drove away as fast as we could to another hotel in Amarillo.

Suggestions: 1) needs more outlets.
2) refrigerator door opens wrong direction making it hard to access in a handicapped room.
3) I prefer small hand soap for bathing and personal containers of shampoo and conditioner.
