Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt Gravenbruch Reviews

One of our favorite hotels in the Frankfurt area, actually in Europe. We switched to this hotel because it was much better than the Schlosshotel Kronberg, where we had been staying on our trips to Frankfurt, before discovering the Kempinski. The service at the Kempinski is outstanding. We were checked in by Marc who was helpful and friendly. Fortunately for us, Ali was also at front desk when we checked in. We really like Ali, as we remembered him from our last stay. As usual, Ali was welcoming, professional and just wonderful. Ali is a big reason why we return to the Kempinski. The porter Savio was so helpful and kind. On our checkout of the hotel, Hanif the porter was also helpful. Our room was lovely with all the amenities you could wish for. The room was so comfortable with a luxurious bathroom. The rooms at the Kempinski are beautiful and so relaxing with amazing views. It is a peaceful oasis. The bar area is gorgeous and the fireplace made it so cozy and romantic. Thank you to Malte, Victoria and Marco for the excellent service at the bar restaurant. The food was excellent. The breakfast buffet at the Kempinski was wonderful. The sheer variety of the different foods, both hot and cold would suit all different tastes. The food was delicious and the views from the restaurant are lovely. The Kempinski at Gravenbruch is outstanding. It is so convenient for the airport, and for us it is a home way from home. We will be back. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

stayed a year or so prior, great room, but had to leave early, and they insiste to charge me for breakfast not able to us. Now going back tomorrow.. send email to reservations yesterday, and to concierge this ealry morning with some questions on a spa booking.. No reply.. called hotel. Spa not available, but told was open. Oh well...

Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende mit der ganzen Familie zu Gast und waren durchweg begeistert. Für die Kleinsten gab es ein tolles spielzimmer und einen wunderbaren Spielplatz. Im SPA Bereich konnten wir uns super entspannen und auf der Terrasse die Sonne und den See geniessen. Das gesamte Team war unglaublich freundlich. Ob der Concierge, an der Bar oder beim Frühstück alle waren immer aussergewöhnlich bemüht uns alle wünsche von den Augen abzulesen. Wir kommen sicher bald wieder!!! Danke für die tolle Zeit!

Exklusives Hotel, mit einem außergewöhnlichen Service. Der Spa Bereich ist ein Traum. Es gibt 4 Saunen und einen großen Pool. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Zimmer war sehr modern eingerichtet, es gab jeden Tag eine aufgefüllte Mini Bar. Die Regendusche ist ein Traum.

Sehr freundliches hilfsbereites Personal immer mit dem bestreben dem Gast zu helfen.Supertoller Spa und moderne Fitness -Geräte,Hotel mit gepflegter großer Außenanlge —Park—- Schönes Aussenschwimmbad im Sommer toll zu entspannen und chillen!!!!

Das Spa ist super ausgestattet aber für 100 Euro Eintritt mit Massage 140 und den 5 Sternen, wirklich katastrophaler Service. Die Masseurin hat bei uns allen dreien einfach 15 min früher Schluss gemacht, ganz selbstverständlich. Die Damen Dusche hat nach Kloake gerochen, und obwohl wir öfter da sind, hat die Dame im Kaffee gesagtes gäbe keine Cappuccinos mit Hafermilch. Sonst gab es den immer - wahrscheinlich hatte sie keine Lust aufzufüllen. Also für ein 5 Sterne Hotel und den Preisen, leider sehr enttäuschend. Vielleicht probieren wir es jetzt mal im Frankfurter Hof und haben mehr Glück mit dem Personal !

I wanted to send a strong warning if you are arriving early - They have an aggressively anti-guest policy which is that even if there are empty rooms they will not let you in until 3pm. If you want to get in at 12:30 they charge 50% of a full night's room rate, and if you want to get in beforehand it is 100% of the room rate. I should be GHA Titanium in the relevant loyalty programme, but my profile isn't showing correctly, so I'm not sure if they are compliant with the policy or not. The hotel presumably feels happy at being able to extra €500 from me for a 20 hour stay, but as a result there is no way that I'll ever set foot here again. The unacceptable rooms policy probably makes me more observant of other failures at the hotel: two doorman at an empty hotel at 8am who just watched me struggling with my suitcase. The aircon/ heating rattles in a way which is going to make sleep tricky and the bedding is both stained and ludicrously cheap (you can only use one side of the pillows as the other half is not fully covered when putting your head on it). This place is not compatible with the Kempsinki brand and should be deflagged immediately. Stay away.

As someone that has visited pretty much every airport hotel around Frankfurt, this was a lovely surprise. Close enough to the airport that you do not need to worry, has also a Spa in case you have a bit of time and arrive earlier the day before. Lovely Breakfast.

Meine Frau und ich waren zum zweiten Mal im Kempinski Gravenbruch und mal wieder restlos begeistert! Toller Service, schöne, renovierte Zimmer mit beheiztem Fußboden im Bad, einem sensationellen Spa und Essen auf hohem Niveau. Das Highlight war die Bar und der tolle Service dort. Ein spezielles Dankeschön an Ihab, der uns von Anfang bis Ende unseres Aufenthaltes toll unterstützt hat und sich um alles gekümmert hat! Wir sind viel auf der ganzen Welt unterwegs und so einen frendlichen Service haben wir selten erlebt!

Good food

Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal dort. Unter der Leitung der Direktorin Frau A. war das Haus sehr gut geführt.Seit diesem Jahr und neuer Leitung ist es eine Katastophe. Zum Check Inn angereist und das Zimmer war nicht fertig, dann um 18.30 endlich bezugsfertig und es war das falsche Zimmer. Schuld war der Gast.Keine Einsichtigkeit des Personals, wäre es nicht so spät gewesen wären wir abgereist. Das Haus wirkt Führungslos. Im Restaurant kein Überblick, unsere Rechnung war nicht gebucht. Das Personal völlig überfordert, das Essen kalt und mittlerer Qualität und dann für sehr sportliche Preise, die man gern bezahlt, aber wenn dann die Qualität nicht passt ist es einfach ärgerlich. Das Zimmerreinigung war mangelhaft. Spuren des Vorgastes waren sichtbar. Im SPA Bereich steht das Personal rum und ignoriert die Gäste. Wir suchten das Gespräch mit der Direktion. Angeblich keiner im Haus an diesen 3 Tagen, auch keine Vertretung. Auf unsere schriftliche Beschwerde wurde dann pauschal geantwortet. Es gab für alles eine Erklärung und keine Einsichtigkeit. Einfach nur Enttäuschend. Nie wieder!!!

So ein Hotel ist wirklich nicht weiter zu empfehlen Das Personal ist so schrecklich unfreundlich Es wurde mir gesagt nachdem ich eingecheckt bin und Kinderartz verlangt habe und extra gefragt habe ob das Kinderbett extra kostet es wurde mir gesagt es ist kostenlos sobald ich eingecheckt habe wurde mir gesagt das Kinder unter 3 Jahre etwa 200€ pro Nacht kosten 😅 Das hab ich mir natürlich nicht gefallen lassen und somit haben die das dann auf Kulanz als ob kostenlos gelassen Beim Check out war alles in Ordnung sobald ich aber aus dem Hotel war wollten die mir mehrere Hunderte Euro vom Konto abziehen bin dahin gegangen und irgend wie dan geklärt da dann eine andere Dame kam sonst das ganze Personal dort einfach schrecklich nicht zu empfehlen das Hotel

Every aspect of this hotel is superb. The rooms are recently renovated, the staff is uniformly friendly (excellent English from everyone) and always takes the initiative to be helpful, and the food is excellent. We had very special dietary needs with severe restrictions, and the room service could not have been more understanding or helpful. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone, and plenty of it. We could not be happier with our three nights there. The hotel is conveniently located for driving to or from the Frankfurt Airport, about 15 minutes away and a straight shot on the Autobahn. I wish we were in Frankfurt more often so that we could pamper ourselves with more frequent stays at the Kempinski. Well done!!!
