Near Airport K Avenue Family Room

I would say one of my worst stays in Malaysia. We had stayed in the same building with another host, the building has a beautiful pool and gym, and kids playground. This hosts provides no duvets for guests; we arrived on naked beds, with a lite throw & sheets with dull color. We needed to ask for everything first, even the most standard; duvets;soaps & WI-FI (passwords & for it to be opened because it wasn’t working first). There is a doll couch 🛋 as the couch, a kids couch that could fit our kids dolls. The kitchenette is not equipped, but with a cheap water boiling kettle & a few plates, no cooker; no electric pot, nothing! Even the fridge is tiny & has microwave on top. The place is definitely not up to standard to accommodate people and the host isn’t friendly. She thought we had paid deposit & tried to rob us sending a pillow case with a few blood spots, only when she realized that we had not paid deposit, she just cut communication. Her plan was to keep all deposits after that awful experience

We stayed 2 nights. The apartment is quite big. But not clean. We saw some little animals in the kitchen, bathroom and near the beds. The equipment for breakfast, lunch or dinner was very poor. And the odor was sooooo stinky in the bathroom. It was no way my wife had to vomit. This is a no way for any 1* hotel. You have to fix this problem, and with a spray or something like that. The WiFi was poor and not working sometimes, the television neither, streaming was stopping many times. The 11 point information paper about penalty fees is horrible. We are customers not little children. The only plus: The swimming looking nice. But It was not a nice stay for us.

The room is overall great, comfy, and spacious for us. Got access to swimming pool and gym. Got a view facing the city. The room is also near the lifts. Got basic kitchenette. The wifi is great, and even the TV got streaming services. But the location, quite far to the city, must have own vehicle for easy transport, and the parking lot always full, must be early before there's no parking available.

Good customer service. Staff is really helpful. They provide so many amenities that you can use like gym, swimming pool (had to wear proper clothes to enter), sauna, playground for kids and many more. They have free parking underground or you can rent parking space on ground floor. Will sure to check this place again if I ever come to Kota Kinabalu again.

Overall the stay is fine. Facility and location is great, near with airport. Will stay again
