I have stayed at many Detroit hotels and the Roost stands out as one of the best.

The building is beautiful and in a great location. It’s easy to walk to LCA among other things. The room was very nice, comfortable and with surprisingly well equipped kitchen.

Everyone was great . Check in was seamless . The valet employees were amazing when we came back from our event for the night. And I left my straightener when I checked out and was able to retrieve it back .

If you’re going for. Sporting or other event downtown the Rooster is great. 3 fine restaurants, maybe a bit to high class but available. Staff was excellent, valet’s were great. 8 minutes to Ford Field, we walked it in 5 & 2 degree weather not comfy but ok.
So long as they keep current price’s this is an excellent place to stay. Great rooms and views. This is the 3rd hotel we stayed at downtown in 4 months and is hands down the best unless you want a ******.

Rooms were impeccably clean and the front desk staff were amazing and so helpful! There was a wedding that night so the rooms were a bit louder with guests at night but that is no fault of the property. From start to finish just a wonderful stay!

This was a perfect stay! I must say, I'm picky when it comes to hotels and this place was⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. The beautiful Book Tower with 6000 panes of pearly glass in the entry antrium, the amazingly beautiful and modern two bedroom equipped with Le Labo bath products and all the things one needs to feel comfy while traveling;modern fridge with purified water, a tea kettle, laundry, a soaking tub. It was well insulated, quiet, with ample room to store ones belongings. I hope to stay here again in the future!

We had a fabulous 1-night stay and appreciated the room amenities and interior design touches. We drove from Chicago back to NYC on New Year's Eve and decided to make this our New Year's base. We picked up groceries beforehand, made a lovely dinner, could view fireworks from our room at midnight, and enjoyed a New Year's Day brunch before we hit the road. I highly recommend and look forward to visiting the other ROOST locations.
