This week, the restaurant staff, especially David Kookie and Jessica Voh, waited on the 100+ customers each day they had breakfast here. Besides the fact they served so many people at once, my husband and I were amazed at the effectiveness they demonstrated. They prepared the breakfast area with polished silverware, fresh coffee, replenished serving bowls with fresh fruit, sustained clean tables while keeping attentiveness with coffee refills and table checking for each of them with positive and respectful attitudes. They deserve much credit along with the rest on on staff this past week keeping pace with such volume of customers while staying cheerful.

From the moment I arrived until I left, customer service was stellar. Upon check-in I was greeted warmly and quickly. I was early, so my assigned room was not ready. I was immediately placed into a comparable room. As a Diamond member I was given bottles of water, a warm cookie and some other snacks. It felt like I had been to the grocery store. Location is very convenient to downtown and public transportation. The few dollars it costs for a premium room is definitely worth it. A friend stayed here at the same time and didn't upgrade. Their room was clean but a lot more dated.

My husband and I spent a couple days here and were pretty satisfied with it. The room was clean and nice. And the bed was very comfortable!! Location was great as well. They charge a daily fee of $35 for parking but there are plenty of other parking garages close for way less. They have a 24 hour self service spot where you can buy snacks and drinks which was helpful. The elevator was extremely slow and a part of our floor was under construction. Also, the pool water was way too warm. It may be listed on their website as heated but I was not prepared. It was 98 degrees outside and we couldn’t even sit in the pool. The biggest complaint was the service. I asked one of the front desk gentlemen if we could bring drinks up to the rooftop pool or if there was bar service and he had no idea. His response was “I think you can?” When we got up to the pool and tried to call to order food and drinks they told me we had to come down and order it from the bar and pick it up from the bar. Which is fine but at the pool area they literally had a phone, next to a menu, and a sign that said use this phone to order food?? They also only have breakfast and dinner hours listed but when I asked if they do lunch too she wasn’t sure and put me on hold to check. It was just a little misleading. Like how do you not know if you serve lunch too? The only awesome service we had was the bartender we had for lunch and drinks. He was knowledgeable and quick to take care of us. Overall 4/5 hotel stay. We would probably come back since the bed was comfy and the room was nice and spacious.

Danvers... It was a nice neighborhood that made me think of it as the city from the House of Paper. Atwell Sweets was really neat. I'll come again. lol

The hotel was nice for what we paid for. Most of the staff members were also very friendly. The support staff was especially nice and always happy. However there was one person at the front desk who was exceptionally rude to me on one occasion. I had called to request tissue paper and towels and spoke to a lady. She indicated they would bring it up to us (usually we had to go down to retrieve. Never did this before at other hotels.). Thirty minutes later we were still waiting on the items. I called again and a guy answered. He told me to be patient and housekeeping just arrived and will bring it. Before I could respond to ask if I can just come for it instead HE HUNG UP ON ME. I had to call back and ask that question. I thought it was so rude for him to tell me to be patient AFTER 30 MINUTES and hang up on me. I didn’t get his name but I remember he wore a nice yellow blazer one day during the trip.

My wife and I got married last year at Woolley's. So, for our first anniversary we returned to Woolley's for a night's stay. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant Saturday evening and then had the buffet breakfast Sunday morning. The atrium in Woolley's provides a peaceful place to relax. I expected a lot better. The location is great for the city sights. Close to all the key areas (and it’s a good walking city). But the number of homeless people around is quite shocking and can make you feel very uncomfortable. It’s only 20 mins walk from Union St but you’ll need a taxi if you have luggage. Lyft and Uber are your friends but pricing is very variable. The reception of the hotel is non-descript and service slow if there’s a conference in the hotel. The rooms are dark. Too dark. They are also small. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Bathrooms need refurbished - they are looking tired. (We stayed twice in the space of a week). Towels were thick and soft; toiletries good quality. The only restaurant is a sports bar in the basement. This is particularly disappointing for a hotel of this quality. Space, service and quality can therefore be problematic. We left one morning when service was particularly bad. There is no Exec Lounge. A major drawback and a dumbing down of the chain. Instead of lounge access we were given $15 per night to spend. This could not buy you breakfast….probably just one drink in the bar. The US chain could learn from Hilton elsewhere in the world. On second visit we arrived at 1720 and our room still wasn’t ready. However the front desk subsequently let us have a late checkout for our own departure. That all said, you’ll be able to do better at this price.

Really clean and friendly staff !! It was near downtown and 10 minutes walk to the Convention Center, so it was really nice !! I liked the facilities such as microwave oven and sink so much, and the breakfast was good for breakfast!!

I loved this hotel! I was passing through and everything was super clean, all the staff I interacted with were super friendly and helpful and it was quiet. Would definitely stay here again!
