I stay in a lot of hotels…mostly Marriott. This hotel does not meet the Marriott standard. We checked in late from flying all day and almost left and found somewhere else, but decided to stay because we were so tired. I asked the receptionist to give us a quiet room, he kept saying he would and it would be a high floor. The room was on floor 5 (not high), right in front of elevators. They had a family reunion and a conference going on and at 11 pm it was so loud! The room never got cool, and the bed was awful! Like I said before, I mostly stay in Marriott’s and typically love the mattress’s but this was not Marriotts normal mattress. It also looked like it had been updated but whoever did this remodel did shotty work.

I'd like to take a moment to recognize the awesome staff at this location. I was unexpectedly displaced from my home of 5 years; being faced with having to stay in an extended stay hotel is emotionally taxing. Chantiece, Abu, Malachi, and the new lady in training (sorry, I didn't get her name) have been kind, helpful, and patient. The level of guest service they have displayed has help make this difficult time in my life much more bearable. I appreciate their hard work, efforts, and comforting smiles each day. I stayed here for a week in August 2019 and enjoyed my stay. Rooms have exterior doors to the outside which I prefer since I usually carry a lot of stuff with me when I travel and makes it much easier to unload my car. I got a king bed room and it was very spacious and the bathroom area had a wide counter so plenty of space to put toiletries and such. The shower always had very hot water in the morning. There is a mini-fridge that worked well. The cable TV selection is very good with some movie channels included. The WiFi was very fast at around 50 Mbps and reliable. There is free breakfast in the lobby every morning and you can enjoy your own self-made waffles. Also scrambled eggs and bacon, too. The pool looked clean and refreshing but I didnt have any time to take a dip, and I was surprised on hot days there were no people enjoying it. The front office staff is very helpful. I noticed at night there was no shady people walking around and the cops did patrol the place occasionally.

The hotel is also ok from the airport. There are several restaurants and small convenience stores in the downstairs. The room on the third floor of our room is also OK. The carpet looks quite new. The breakfast is normal in the United States. Breakfast, location is in a small area of the hotel reception, breakfast with milk juice coffee yoghurt, as well as cereal, bread, you can also make waffles yourself, there is a microwave for hot milk, breakfast and hot water to provide perfect. Overall, the price is very high. When you check in, you will be charged a deposit of 50 US dollars. Upon check-out, you will confirm that it is returned to Cary 10 to 15 days after the end of the stay.

The room design is modern and so clean and smells healthy, Everything was great. The hospitality was fine , the owner is so helpful . The room view is nice. Just had a perfect room perfect b lend on the wall painting very clean perfect not creased sheets which was a huge plus for me .The Wi-Fi was highly reliable very fast and could really get my job done . I enjoyed the warm shower and fresh air from the balcony . The check-in and check-out are pretty fast. I loved how informed and efficient the receptionist was . Location is quite nice .Just walk out 3min have two 7-11 and family mart and mall .. and also near to the very nice places to eat Very close to the universities I was looking to scout and window shop which was my main concern so a very affordable smart choice from my end. A bit of city noise but very quiet and peaceful at night didn’t quite know if heard my neighbors but the sheets were comfortable and smelled really nice Would definitely come back soon.

Our room was clean and comfortable. I reserved a non-smoking room, however, I still smelled cigarette smoke from in my room. A non-smoking room should not be within smelling distance of a smoking room. And when there are designated rooms, that doesn't mean I should smell smoke in the stairwell either. We tried to take the stairs b/c the elevator was SLOW, but couldn't even get up one flight due to the smell of cigarette smoke. So we waited on the SLOW elevator. Later, saw cigarette ashes and butts down the hallway to the staircase, and saw additional cigarette butts in the stairwell, then realizing the smell was too strong to enter again. I mentioned this to the person at the front desk and she advised she would report it. When we finally checked out, those same butts and ashes were there and we couldn't enter the stairwell for a third time. When we got off the elevator, the smoking ”area” outside had people smoking but they had the door propped open, so that smoke was entering the building. I once again told the front desk, and I was just told, ”Yeah that door is broke, and the cards don't work for that door.” Not very hospitable, and didn't offer anything for me. If you can't stand to be around cigarette smoke, don't stay here. I guess I will always find a complete smoke-free hotel from here on out.

Stayed here in late August. The hotel is fine. It could use a little updating; but, the room was clean and comfortable, the location is great and convenient to spots in and out of the city, the I didn't have any issues with noise or anything else that others have mentioned. The only issue was parking which as others have noted is $6 a night even though (1) it's unusual for a Courtyard that's not in an urban/downtown area to charge for parking and (2) it's unnecessary given how large the parking area is at the hotel. When I checked in, I specifically told the front desk clerk that I was not parking a vehicle, yet the charge still appeared on my final bill. The hotel removed the charge, though there was a little harrumphing about it. Otherwise, everything about the hotel was fine, and it's a bit better than other reviewers have mentioned.
