Quality Inn & Suites Thomasville

The first room I was given smelled terribly of smoke. The staff was great and I switched rooms. Then that room the AC unit was super loud, but we dealt with it until 2330 when the AC unit went out altogether. So we had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. Again, the staff was great. Then the next morning, the food selection was poor and we just grabbed "hot water" for tea and it was lukewarm water. I asked to talk with a manager and sent an email but haven't heard back regarding my experience.

We drove into the parking lot and saw 1 window in the hotel boarded up and someone who had propped their window open with a wastebasket. These were the first clues that things were not going to be up to par. We were greeted by a nice enough woman at check in. She brought us to the room and on the way, there was a sign that said "Excuse our appearance. We are renovating." The door of our room was all scratched and didn't close on its own. The ice machine door in the hall and the fridge door in our room had all kinds of marks on it, like it wasn't clean. Our room was dirty with hair, some fluffy lint and several other remnants on the bathroom floor and probably 15 - 4" marks on the walls where they were patching holes in the wall. I did tell the check in person about the dirtiness of the room and she offered to have it cleaned and they did. The bed spread had cigarette burn holes in it and the window in our room was slightly open and couldn't be moved to close. It was hard to believe how they could have let the room get to be in this condition without doing something way before. The television was set up with a very weird configuration of channels with no universal guide to find stations, which made it difficult to navigate. We couldn't wait to leave!

Property is dated and worn out. Updates are in progress but it seems they are being completed in a spotty manor. Leaving rooms open for occupancy that are in different states of repair.

What you listed online about the rooms in the hotel is not right. What they had available made it very complicated

The people in the room. Next to us started yelling from 7 at night till 11.00 at night and then started at 5.00 in the morning. The breakfast was terrible they was nothing let on the counter when we arrived and only one muffin was put on after the only good thing was the coffee.

It was amazing just wished they had more of a breakfast selection... But for the price you couldn't have beat it

Front desk was very nice .I stay there a lot just noticed last 2 times bathroom wasn’t as clean as usual

Excellent condition and great service, but if one is looking for a place with strong internet to do business, then the new normal is to find a room that costs $150-$200. In other words, I couldn't business online because I couldn't get internet. Other than that, it was a great deal

We enjoyed everything about our stay. They are remodeling so we got one of the finished rooms. The only complaint we have is that the curtain did not cover the small the area between the light coming in from the outside and where our heard were on the bed.. Maybe they could add some clips or some way to block the light out of the room for better sleeping for the guests.
