Tropical Life Resort and Spa

Dananjaya showed us through the resort farm. He was passionate and informative. He explained the fruits and vegetables grown here and discussed the biodiversity. The farmer and his workman were pleased we showed an interest in their work. The sampling of three of the fruits was an additional bonus.

We stayed at tropical life resort for one night.such a beautiful place it was.calm and clean.there was 4 kids in our group.safe place for kids too.food was delicious and the staff was very friendly .special thanks to Mr.Dhananjaya who helped me from the very first call when i called them for my reservation .they arranged safari vehicles for us.i will highly recommend this place.

We were celebrating an anniversary! So the hotel had a special welcome for us and the hotel room was special decorated with flowers, so romantic and for dinner, they had a romantic dinner planned for us. We have no other words then FANTASTIC! The staff is very nice and always asking of everything is oké/fine. The food at the dinner buffet is very good and enjoyable for non-spicy eaters. We are very happy that we stayed at tropical resort ! Greetings Mike&Anne

It was a really nice stay, was very happy with the experience. Ample space in the rooms and very comfortable. The atmosphere is very calm and serene. So much greenery and specially many peacocks around. The staff is very friendly chef roshan and our server Lahiru was very attentive.

Very relaxing and quiet atmosphere. The room was spacious, bright and modern. Swimming pool and pool bar amazing with very caring service. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food variety was great, even including a couple of live cooking corners. Hotel staff was very nice. We would come back if we could!

We arrived very late , but we were welcomed so warmly & the staff were extremely helpful..We have had the most amazing time at the Tropical Life resort .. the rooms are very clean & spacious & shower was a delight with lots of lovely hot water .. the manager Prasanna made us feel relaxed with his wonderful personality.. the buffet breakfast & dinner was sumptuous & the staff were very obliging & courteous . I can highly recommend this beautiful resort to anyone that is traveling to Dambulla in Sri Lanka

This resort was the most pleasant surprise straight from the start. The grand entrance foyer is very impressive and things only get better after the first impression. The setting is delightful amongst magnificent tropical gardens with plenty of Birdlife. The staff is so attentive and quick to help with any request. In particular Pradeep in the dining room is a gem. Cannot complain about anything.

The staff was great and the facilities were clean and comfortable. The pool was lovely. Our package included breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Breakfast was fine, lots of choices. The dinners were buffet style, which meant the food was not very hot, but they also had a station where a chef made hot dishes. And there was a room full of desserts. We used the laundry service, which went well.

Hotel very decent. Good hot water, comfy bed and clean very modern room. Pool bar and staff excellent as were all restaurant staff - especially Sandeep! Food lovely - the buffet always a good variety of curries and great hoppers one evening!
