Excellent and extremely comfortable stay! The room was beautiful with modern amenities and creature comforts. Would give more than 5 stars if we could! The room was cleaned and the bed was made daily. The hotel provides free buggy shuttle service from the main road up to the hotel as the winding road uphill is narrow and rather inaccessible by car. Free buggy service is also provided to a car park next to Shuanglang ancient town, so getting there is really convenient. As the hotel is situated on a hill, the view of the houses below and Erhai lake provides a spectacular backdrop. If you are fortunate, you will be able to watch fireworks from your room. Breakfast was the best we had during our visit to Yunnan. The noodles were tasty and many side dishes and fruits were provided. The breakfast lounge was beautiful, modern and clean. Would stay here again if we were to visit Shuanglang in the future!

Hotel staff is amazing! They were in touch before my arrival, checking in on my ETA. The moment we stepped out of the car, the staff came running out to help with our luggage. They helped us carry up the luggage as there is no lift. Room is clean and with sea view. There was a little issue with water flowing out of the bathroom and they attended to it straight away. The following day, they change another room for us. Overall experience is great and will recommend travellers to try out this hotel. A big shout out to the service staff!
