Dali Haiyin Seaview Garden Beauty hotel

Great stay at this hotel. Friendly host and staff who gave us advice and tips on where to go (and how to get there). Room was clean and comfy with a lovely view. The bath is very large! Nice breakfast each morning (pictured) with a choice of either noodles or porridge. Thank you again for accommodating!

I must say this was probably the most expensive hotel I’ve paid for in the whole of my Yunnan travel. It’s cute and has the lake view which is absolutely stunning but it wasn’t as big as I had imagined it to be. The staff is friendly and they give you some welcome fruits and the hotel has tea and other refreshments that you will have to buy on your own. The breakfast was a decent Chinese breakfast. I would kindly advise you not to ask them to call or not even enquire about a taxi from them when leaving this area or their hotel. For example I asked them how to get to Shaxi from their hotel and they said they have a shuttle that will take me there. There was obviously a misunderstanding as to me just asking a question and me asking for a shuttle. I assumed it would be affordable as a friend mentioned that hotels will help you with shuttles at reasonable prices. I ended up getting a car they called and I was alone in the car all the way to shaxi and cos ME A WHILE 400rmb!! I had researched ways and prices on my own and went with their service cos I thought it’s convenient and that it should be affordable and not that much of. Difference. A didi would’ve been cheaper l!

The Inn is an hour drive from the train station. There are small shops and restaurants near by and also a small town 15-20 minutes walk away. The staff were very nice and friendly, communicating with them was very easy. They helped me book a number of taxi's around Dali & also arranged a driver to take me to Lijiang. My room was perfect and looked like the pictures. Breakfast was delicious and was brought to my room.
