Grand View Hotel (Dali Bohai Park High-speed Railway Station) Reviews

We stayed in this lovely hotel for 4 nights. All the staff at the reception counter were very responsive and helpful. In particular, Miss Zhou went out of her way to help us book our hailing rides to the tourist attractions. Another staff assisted us to retrieve a parcel that was sent from Lijiang. When our room had issues to be solved, the staff and the manager (Ms Pang) would personally attend to the problem in our room. Thank you for a memorable stay at your hotel!

I like the location of the hotel, for the price paid is above value, location is near to Dali railway station and a lot of eatery and near the Erhai lake parks

We love the hotel. Room was big, very clean. Facilities were new. Breakfast was nice. It was worth the money. The hotel had self serviced washing machine and dryer for free. When we had a long trip, these facilities made us feel like at home. The hotel workers were very friendly and helpful. We love the hotel. Definitely we will book the same hotel if we visit Dali again.

We had a great time at the Gran View, and returned to the hotel for another day. Our room was clean and spacious, service was great, and additional amenities such as the washing machine and dryer helped us a lot during our travel.

The hotel is located next to Xingsheng Bridge, and it takes 3 minutes to walk to the Suoshui Pavilion behind. It is very pleasant to take a walk by the Erhai Lake at night! Opposite the hotel is Xiaguanyi Commercial Street, where all kinds of snack restaurants are available and the prices are fair and affordable (I don't know how many times better than the restaurants in the ancient city). The room is clean and tidy, and you can see the street view and Cangshan Mountain in the distance outside the bed. Although the street-facing hotel has a thoughtful double-glazed soundproof design, it doesn't feel noisy at all. The bed is larger than expected and the mattress is very comfortable. After a long journey, it is a beautiful sleep! The bedside is also equipped with Chinese medicine eye protection eye masks, earplugs, safes, etc.! I, a person who pays great attention to details, find it impeccable! The front desk brother and sister are very enthusiastic, and tea and coffee are available in the front lobby all day! Breakfast has rice noodles, roasted rice blocks, toast bread and other buffet options. Chinese and Western buffets can meet the needs of different groups of people! The hotel restaurant also arranges a children's play area, which greatly facilitates families traveling with children! In short! Such a budget hotel is absolutely worth the money! !

The hotel opened last year, the facilities and equipment are quite new, the service is very good, free upgrade to a super king bed, 4 meters wide. I was stung by a bee on my face, the waiter helped me to remove the sting and apply alcohol, thank you. There is Erhai Lake downstairs, and there are a lot of delicious food.

I participated in the Dali Marathon this time and booked this hotel. It is very close to the starting point of the marathon, only about 300 meters away. I felt very comfortable when I entered the hotel. The room was very big and the bathroom was clean and tidy. The service was really great. The room is new and big, very close to Erhai Lake. There is a street outside the window, but it is not noisy when the window is closed. Parking is in a car repair and washing yard in the backyard, and there are staff to guide parking. It is convenient to eat around, and there is a commercial street opposite. The overall price-performance ratio is good, but the room on the 5th floor can hardly see much Cangshan Mountain, and you need to live on a high floor to have a better view.

The hotel is very clean and tidy. Across the street is the Daguanyi Commercial Street. There are many places to eat. It is very lively in the morning and evening. There is a vegetable market in the morning. I don’t know if it is a market on Sunday. Anyway, there are many people. There are many barbecues and supper on the street at night. It is a little quiet in the afternoon. There is serious traffic jam at other times. Walking more than 100 meters downstairs from the hotel is Xingsheng Bridge, which is a good choice for taking pictures. It is good during the day and night. Crossing Xingsheng Bridge is the State Museum. This is highly recommended and very good. Walking out of the alley next to it for 200 meters is the Erhe River, which is also good for visiting. There are bicycles to ride casually, but each one is not full of gas and will be flattened when pressed. In addition, Dali is very sunny, so it is not recommended to ride a bicycle. There are many shared electric motorcycles on the roadside, which are much easier to ride, unless you want to ride to the Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor, which is very tiring to ride a bicycle. In addition, the location of the hotel is a bit awkward. You have to walk a few more steps to any scenic spot. Next time I plan to choose one with Erhai Lake downstairs, which is convenient for visiting. The street-facing room is not noisy, and it is equipped with earplugs and eye masks. The most amazing thing is that there are several horizontal bars on the window, which can be used to hang clothes. The ultraviolet rays are so strong that they can dry quickly through the glass. You can get water at the front desk. There is also whole grain juice for breakfast, and I drank a lot.

The service at Daguan Hotel is warm and thoughtful. The rooms are clean and spacious. There are TV programs replaying. The sea view room you booked can see Erhai Lake. The surrounding dining is in Aiqing Sea Shopping Park. Hangbanglai Green Tea Shop is cheap and good.

The environment is very comfortable, the breakfast is good, the mixed sauce rice noodles and rice noodles are very delicious. The sanitation is cleaned very cleanly every day, the hotel facilities are very new, and the transportation is also very convenient. It is next to the Daguanyi Commercial Street, which is very convenient. The most satisfactory thing is that the cost performance is very high, which is higher than many homestays.
