Hotels near Honglong Well, Dali

The location is at the south gate of the ancient city. As soon as you walk out of the hotel, you will find stalls and alleys, as well as many restaurants. It is so convenient. Renting a battery car is also just behind the hotel, which is very convenient. The design of the room is antique, and it is a place where blockbusters can be shot anywhere.

Comfortable room and the owner is nice and helpful. It’s in a nice location in the Old Town if you want to avoid noise and crowded but still be fairly close to Renmin Rd. The room was simple but fairly spacious. You can do laundry there is you stay for a while.

Very good accommodation experience, spacious and bright lobby, elegant environment, free mineral water when checking in, spacious rooms with plenty of light, excellent location, super convenient transportation, complete facilities in the house, spotless. The bed is soft, hot water comes out in seconds, the service is first-class, the reception of this hotel is really good, the staff are super friendly, the environment is clean and new , the hotel is in a good location, the room is spacious and bright, full of design, and it is very comfortable to stay

Booked this room for my dad's friend. The owner and the employees were really vert friendly and nice. They have a free pick-up service from the railway station because we stayed for 3 nights. The room was smart, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was good, especially the MiXian, and it really suits my appetite. It is a 5-minute walk from Dali Ancient Town, but if you are walking at night, then you need to be careful because it will be very dark and have fewer people. When we left for Lijiang, they even sent us off and gave us a thank you gift. 

Excellent location, big rooms, very clean. The best part of the hotel is the location inside the Dali Ancient Town, just 5 minutes away from the entrance to the old town. This is convenient if you are renting a car or taking cabs to get around Dali, as cars are not allowed inside the ancient town most of the time. The hotel has great views of the mountain and has a very modern look and feel. Overall great experience! Highly recommend!

Would recommend Hosting Friendly and smiley. Took up bags without asking. Answer questions over wechat. Even the other guests were friendly! Usually Chinese visitors don't really speak to me (which is fine of course), but the girls I shared a room with even asked me to dinner with them and shared food Location The pictures they have down for the exterior, it's actually to the left of that. walking distance to the ancient village and chongsheng temple. easy trips to the lake. Amenities Fridge, washing machine, hair dryer, shoe dryer, toiletries, kitchen area etc. all included. There's like a communal courtyard area as well and I believe you can eat there too but you need to book it the day before by a certain time. Bathroom Sit down toilet. Shower. Toiletries. Looks a bit shabby at first glance but the shower toilet and sink are all working and very clean Room Lovely thick mattress (I've found they are usually quite thin in Chinese hostels so this was a nice surprise). Heater if needed. I'm not entirely sure how the lock on the door is supposed to be done. Overall great atmosphere. The pictures look a little bit rough around the edges but its honestly fine and i think I could stay here a while

After looking at the room, I booked it. The inn is located in the ancient city. I took DiDi to Boai Gate and arrived at the inn. I walked for one minute to the main entrance of the ancient city. The environment is very good. The bedding and mattresses are brand new and used. All are disposable bath towels, and they also come with disposable toilet covers, which is very considerate. The yard is sunny and the boss is very nice. I will stay at the boss’s Erhai store today and watch the sunrise over the Erhai Lake. I recommend it!

The location is very good, very close to the bus stop at the south gate of the ancient city. Unlike the noisy main streets of the ancient city, it is quite quiet to live here. The price is great value. The yard is very exquisite, and the sky of Dali is so beautiful. I stayed for two nights in total. I talked a lot with the boss on the second night. I found that I should have talked on the first night, so that it would be more convenient to visit Dali. The boss is very sincere. We also want to eat wild mushrooms, but it is not available in this season. It is very comfortable to ride a bicycle by the Erhai Lake in Dali. There are lakes, birds, and Cangshan Mountain with a small amount of snow on the top of the mountain in the distance. It is really very leisurely to lie down for a few days. The cleaning auntie kept changing the sheets and quilts, and they were changed for each guest. I also used the washing machine to wash clothes.

The hotel is clean and nice. The owner is very helpful and suggested a few options to tour around Dali. Location is convenient to walked around inside Dali ancient city. A minor downside is cigarette smell is quite strong inside the room. But overall, is good for their cleanliness, services and affordable price.

I would rate this place 5 star for the location which super near to the South Gate. Not forgetting the hospitality and the cleanliness of this place. This place is run by a family. You really feel like home. Very quiet area and very safe. Owners lock the main door at night. But you want to move around late, just inform them earlier that you will be late. 2 wonderful kids here. My son had a great time with them as well. Tutti is so helpful speaks English. I will recommend my fellow Malaysian who visit Dali to consider this place to stay. For the price, this is considered good. No dogs only one beautiful cat. If I want to suggest this place to be better, I would suggest that the owner get someone to tidy your room when you are away. Fantastic stay.
