The rooms were impeccably clean. They were spacious, and the semi-double beds were very comfortable. Although the toilet and shower were combined, the vanity area was large and convenient to use, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. We had breakfast included and ate there both mornings; the food was surprisingly delicious. We were perfectly happy with the hotel's meals and didn't need to eat out. This was my first time in Daegu, and thanks to this hotel, it was a comfortable and enjoyable trip. On our departure day, due to our KTX reservation, we asked the front desk to call us a taxi, which was incredibly helpful. The staff spoke excellent Japanese and were very polite, leaving a great impression. We arrived at the station on time, and the fare was exactly as stated. Overall, it was a wonderful hotel. The fox paintings, in keeping with HOTEL FOX ARTHALL, were also very cute! Next time I come to Daegu, I definitely want to stay here again and would confidently recommend it to my friends! As a side note, the hotel is about a 3-minute walk from Exit 10 of Banwoldang Station (반월동 역) after passing through the underground shopping arcade. However, Exit 10 requires climbing about five steps before you reach an escalator (which is also narrow). So, if you have a large suitcase, be prepared to tackle the stairs, and once you get on the escalator, the hotel is right there.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Daegu and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers a superb view, making the stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. One of the best things about this hotel is its strategic location — it is conveniently surrounded by several tourist attractions, all within walking distance. This made exploring the city very easy and stress-free. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Daegu, especially for those who appreciate a great view and easy access to nearby attractions.

The facilities are excellent and very well-equipped, and there's a generous welcome snack and drink selection. The sanitizing closet is a thoughtful touch! The room is huge, and for the price, it's a fantastic deal. The bathroom is also very large; even though it's not a complete wet/dry separation, its size means it's hard for the whole area to get wet. The TV really surprised me – it's massive, and watching YouTube on it is great. The location on Dongcheng Road is easy to find and convenient, though the nearby sidewalks are a bit uneven, making it tricky to pull luggage. It's about an 8-10 minute walk to Zhongyang Road Metro Station, right in the city center, which makes getting around very convenient. They offer luggage storage, but unfortunately, check-in is a bit late at 5:00 PM. Check-out at 12:00 PM is quite good though.

This hotel is really close to Banwoldang Subway Station, and it's right by a bustling commercial street, making it super convenient for food and shopping. Places like Geumseong Galbi, the Hanok Starbucks, and Yakjeon Alley are all within easy walking distance. The hotel entrance isn't very obvious, and the room was small with no particular view. It's a bit inconvenient that Korean hotels generally don't provide complimentary disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers. Japanese hotels like Toyoko Inn even offer skincare products like cleansing oil and toner, which aren't available here, though there's an Olive Young nearby. The breakfast was quite good – you can make your own Korean bibimbap and there were baked eggs. For just one night as a过渡 before heading to Busan the next morning, and at only 200 yuan, I can't really complain!

Just walk 5 to 7 minutes to subway, a convenient location with plenty of restaurants nearby. Restaurants ranging from Cafe, crepes, bakery, Korean food or Japanese food for your choices. The hotel itself is fantastic no matter for its cleanliness and services. A very comfortable bed and pillow with spacious and cozy. Besides, a simple breakfast but is is good enough to fresh you up. The perfect location is easy for you to walk around or convenient to connect subway for many interest points or attractions.

While it is a budget hostel, and the location is a bit of a walk inside the back street, I did not expect it to be too luxury or anything special. What was strange was that eventhough I arrived before 10PM, there was nobody at the reception desk, and I had to call to be able to speak with someone for check in and being directed to a self check in machine. With my broken korean language skill, it was difficult but I made it at the end. The room has some black moulds and I had to plug off the mini fridge to be able to use the power point to charge my phone, mini fan and whatever else. And in the morning that mini fridge has produced some water on the floor after being thawed. Towels were provided but they were smelly. The bottom of the toilet were not sealed properly to the floor (the sillicone joint has worn off). The room is in need of renovation. I managed to do the self check out when I went downstairs the next morning (with the same machine). Then I realised I couldn’t get out via the entrance door that I got in the night before, because it was locked at around 11AM. After I rang the owner again, he directed me to leave by the back door. Then I was trying to find my way at the back area to go out to the street and catch a taxi. This hostel by far was the worst place I have stayed ever. I was glad I only booked for 1 night.

The room and bathroom were both very spacious and incredibly clean. The bed was super comfortable. They offer a simple breakfast and instant noodles if you're hungry. We booked three nights for our five-day trip, but on the second day, we didn't stay there. I specifically asked the front desk if I could leave my luggage until I checked in on the third night, and they kindly allowed it, which I really appreciated. The only minor downside was that the room had a 3-in-1 charging cable, but it didn't work (no power), so I had to borrow a charging cable set from the front desk.

I stayed at this hotel for a 3-day business trip. 1. **Location & Accessibility:** As someone traveling from out of town and relying on the subway, the hotel's proximity to Jungangno Station Exit 1 was absolutely ideal for transportation. The surrounding commercial area is bustling, offering plenty of dining options, which is great. However, it does come with some noise pollution from people drinking and chatting late into the night, making it louder than hotels in quieter, more secluded areas. With many commercial facilities nearby, including the Dongseongno Tourist Special Zone, and it being a weekend, I also witnessed a vibrant festival atmosphere with many young people, including teenagers. It was quite a fresh experience. 2. **Hotel Room Facilities:** I felt that the accommodation fee of over 500,000 won for two nights was excessively high. Aside from it being a SUITE Room and having a styler, I don't think the facilities were outstanding for the price. Disposable toiletries like toothpaste and toothbrushes weren't provided, so guests have to purchase them individually. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were, of course, available. I hadn't brought my personal hairdryer because the website mentioned hair dryers and curling irons were provided. To my surprise, the hairdryer in the room was tiny, only blew air without any styling capabilities, and the curling iron was so small it felt like a child's toy. I inquired at the front desk, but they said that's all they had. I ended up buying a hairdryer from Olive Young just to use it. As I was on a business trip, a good hairdryer was essential for me. Considering the hotel's price point, I believe such items should be adequately stocked and usable. On a positive note, the bedding and other items, as well as the cleanliness, were excellent. The bedding was particularly comfortable. The underfloor heating also made the room pleasantly warm and cozy. 3. **Breakfast & Other Amenities:** Since breakfast was included, I had two morning meals. The food was average, and I felt it could have been better. On the first day, I received a small cup of beer as a welcome drink. I also checked out the fitness facility, as advertised on the website, but it was much smaller, cramped, and more claustrophobic than depicted, so I just left. I didn't book the hotel myself; my organization did, so I had read the website and reviews beforehand. However, my actual experience left me with quite a few disappointments. It felt like just a small hotel. While it has the significant advantage of being in a prime transportation hub and could be useful for groups to leverage the surrounding commercial area, for a solo traveler seeking relaxation, it doesn't quite hit the mark.

The hotel bed was a bit soft, but the room was spacious. The location is excellent, near Jungang-ro. There's a 24-hour E-Mart and Olive Young within a five-minute walk. Downstairs, there are BBQ, sausage soup, and rice restaurants. Several supermarkets are nearby, so you can easily buy medicine if you have an upset stomach. Public transportation is also very convenient. The front desk even lent us an umbrella when it rained. Overall, it's great value for money.

There were two bottles of water in the room, but I needed more, so I asked and was told there was some available on the first floor, so I brought some back :) There was also popcorn on the first floor, so I brought that along too. It was quiet so I slept well, but it was a shame that it was so noisy in the morning 😭 Still, the value for money was the best 👍🏻
