Premier Inn Stafford North (Spitfire)

A comfortable room for a reasonable price. We needed a cot for our room, unfortunately there is no easy way to do this via the website or app when booking and must be done by call, though not to the hotel itself. Happy to say though that the cot was provided with no issues. As with a lot of busy hotels the room itself was quite noisy, especially in the morning but the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.

The room was clean and comfortable as always. Friendly staff, good chef. We went to its restaurant Redhill for dinner and the food was yummy and price reasonable. Special thanks to Emma and Matin for their good service. They took care of their customers well. Thank you.

Sensational stay, which was helped by some sensational staff!!! Had a wonderful dinner and was served by a young lady named Libby, who was extremely helpful, polite and well mannered. Fantastic stay, with a great dinner and great company.

No issue with the hotel, clean room, friendly reception staff. We use this hotel regularly and have never had an issue. Ate at the restaurant the first night as we have several times before. First night the food was excellent. The place was busy, but the staff were friendly and helpful, service was excellent and the food was hot and tasty. The second night the food and service were appalling. I had to send my starter back twice and it was still inedible. The chill was missed off the nachos the first time, and the second time it was dumped on without being heated and was stone cold! 2 of our 4 mains were stone cold. We sent them back, and they came out cold and tough. We ended up not eating our meals as it was awful. The restaurant was mostly empty, however the service was terrible. The table behind us waiting over an hour for their food. The table next to us waited nearly an hour to order, but gave up and walked out. We complained to the shift leader who refunded us part of the meal deal, however when we left I scanned their QR code which encourages you to leave a review. The QR code was disabled and I heard the staff comment that I had scanned it to leave a review. Terrible service, cold, inedible food, bad mannered staff. Will not be eating here again. The hotel was as good as it usually is, but I would avoid the restaurant!!

My stay was comfortable and the staff were very hospitable and helpful. The Chef greeted me on arrival and explained about the catering and made me feel completely at ease. Some time later he was joined by the receptionist who delighted me with an (almost) complete tour of Stafford. Thus armed I took a whizz around the town and her advice allowed me to avoid the more salubrious areas of Stafford. Breakfast the following morning was an endless delight with plenty of choice and our hostess (Jayne Kim) was so lovely we didn't want to leave. I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Friendly and helpful food wad great and the restaurant was clean . If they didn’t have something you wanted they were happy to try to get it for you . I will definitely go back again . A great little journey break between Devon and the north of England
