Purtroppo in un pernotto di 2 notti ho segnalato un problema di pulizia appena entrato in stanza con tanto di foto mostrate alla reception e ricevuto dovute rimostranze e relative scuse con la promessa che nel prossimo turno di pulizie il ciuffo di peli e capelli sarebbe stato rimosso. Nulla di tutto ciò è accaduto, dormo ancora con il batuffolo accanto al letto, messo lì in bella vista. Questo la dice tutto sulla pulizia effettuata... Altro problema segnalato riguarda la scadentissima qualità del materasso del divano letto che ti costringe a dormire sulle molle, la reception ha cercato di effettuare la sostituzione ma alla fine non c'è stata la necessità perché abbiamo inserito noi tra i materassi e le lenzuola numero 3 piumini per riuscire a riposare. È un peccato, perché perdersi in queste condizioni soprattutto dopo una segnalazione chiara non lascia spazio a dubbi. Ho chiesto un cuscino in più e ne trovo uno con federa del cuscino semistrappata che appena preso si è aperta in due... Colazione dolce standard ma buona. Personale gentile.

This is my second visit here and it only confirms and emphasizes the magic of the place: The hermits really had it good ;) here… Completely renovated while keeping the style and feeling of centuries of good life, having its own food and wine production, staffed by wonderful helpful personnel and having an excellent restaurant on the premises, Don Eusebio, this place will put to shame any of the super expensive and soul-less newer creatings on the island (think Planeta). Pool, bar, laundry service and enchanted premises, they have it all. Not to mention that they are probably the only luxury hotel with private archeological site AND an airplane ***** for private planes! I’m sure we’ll be back.

What can I say about Modica Boutique Hotel? I LOVED IT! LOCATION: GREAT! Easy to find, surrounded by many shops and restaurants. PARKING: Free Parking in a lock-up garage; private and very safe, with lift connected straight to Hotel. ROOM (Superior): Spacious, Modern, Very clean, Very comfy bed, Cozy linen, State of the art Shower, Relaxation at it's best! BREAKFAST: Spoiled for choice, everything fresh and delicious. Buffet Breakfast 'a la grande'! WATER MACHINE ON EACH FLOOR: Empty bottles provided for free cold or room temperature Natural and Sparkling Water HOTEL RESTAURANT: We had one dinner. Limited choice, however the food was cooked to perfect, presented well and we loved it. Very reasonably priced. STAFF: Polite, courteous, professional, and always with a smile. I highly recommend Modica Boutique Hotel, especially for those travelling with their car by ferry to Pozzallo, as it is only 20min drive. You will not regret it. Excellent location and good price quality ratio. nice and comfortable staff. Clean and spacious room. Parking in the nearby hotel and, if you don't find any place, also at a cost. Breakfast in the standard. If you are tired, it is comfortable to have dinner in hotels but it is to improve the restaurant offer that seems more focused in meeting the needs of groups or commits than individual customers. However, the structure is very recommended.

My daughter recently got married at the Relais Chiaramonte on the outskirts of Ragusa. It was a dream wedding in every aspect. The location perched on top of a hill is picture perfect and the setting for the reception just as outstanding. The food ably prepared by Fabio Ulcano and his team is worthy of Michelin star rating. It was divine. Giuseppe Gugliotto, who is the restaurant manager could not be more professional and helpful in making sure all the preparations were set in motion on the day. All the staff at the hotel are so helpful and go out of their way to see to every need. We took over all the rooms at the small hotel for the wedding and it was great to share it with those closest to the family. Overall, I have wonderful memories of this event and I truly have only words of praise for those who made it so memorable and special.

Ample breakfast, peripheral location, quiet but not very comfortable and strategic. Check-in via WhatsApp because there was no one in reception (on mid morning) with cards withdrawal and keys in an autonomous way (in a ”cassette” available to everyone). The room has not been set up over the last 2 days (on 4 nights) (we have stayed without bathroom towels and toilet paper), with various absurd justifications by the employee. 7 days on 7 unexisting (I left a message in the phone secretary but did not have a answer). Wi-Fi was not going but it was not my priority ... Very hot room (I had to leave the condition on 24/24h). Peccato! A advice to the manager of this Residence: a quality STAFF is a very important thing.

Used this place as a base for touring the hill towns of South East Sicily. We found it well located to get to Scicli, Modica and of course Ragusa. All within 20 minutes drive. We arrived late on a Sunday and helpful lady on reception gave us great recommendation. Lovely big room, spacious parking area and big plot to roam. Inviting swimming pool with lots of loungers - bit too cold to use in May though. Poppies and wildflowers abound the grounds. Environmentally conscious theme. Local products well in evidence at breakfast. Good choice of food and great fresh blood orange juice! Overall incredible value. Would come back!
