This hostel is located opposite the Kornavan railway station in Geneva. There is a bus stop nearby. I can take the No. 8 bus to visit the United Nations, the Red Cross Museum, the British Park in Geneva, to see the fountains in Lake Geneva, and to visit other tourist attractions. I stayed there for one night and my room was on the 3rd floor so I could hear the noise from the street and the noise of the train/bus passing by at night. If you can’t sleep in a noisy environment, I would recommend a room on a higher floor.

A very good old hotel (not considered old in Europe), the decoration is classic and refined, very clean and the facilities are very good. We stayed in a triple room, which was an inside and outside room. It was very large and very convenient. The bathroom was separated from wet and dry and had both a bathtub and a shower. It was very good. The towels were new and comfortable. There is also a Michelin bistro in the hotel, and there is a tram station opposite the door. , there is a supermarket next door, there are many places to eat in the opposite block, you can reach the lake within a short walk, and it only takes 5/6 minutes to walk from the train station. The service was very good. Our room was ready when we checked in at 11 a.m., which is very rare in Europe. I like this hotel and will recommend it to others.

We stayed just to rest after our arrival at Geneva airport but it turned out to be the best hotel we stayed at during our 9 day visit to Switzerland. Outstanding location near train station (no need for car) and lots of restaurants in easy walking distance. Very friendly staff, especially at the breakfast buffet. Surprisingly quiet room for such a busy area in Geneva.

I liked this hotel. Good location, 7 minutes or so from the central train station (which we walked to every day) and 2 blocks from Lake Geneva. It is is the ”new” part of town, not Old Town, but it was simple to get to the old part of town--we walked over there twice, including return in the evening after dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a very modern feel, and the room was a good sized compared to what we’ve seen in other European cities (but it was also a bit more expensive). Breakfast was good. Three choices: Continental, Buffet without eggs and hot food, and Full Buffet. Not cheap but consistent with the prices we’ve seen in other hotels. No U.S. plugs; didn’t expect them. We didn’t have an ironing board in our room, but upon request, one was quickly brought to us, and we kept it throughout our stay. The bed was comfortable, 4 pillows, but as in many northern European hotels, only a comforter, no top sheet. It's possible we could have gotten one upon request--I didn't try. Our room did have a table and two chairs, as well as a nice TV, which we didn’t use, so can’t really report on that. We were on the 5th floor, room 58. The only issue with this room is that it is in kind of a dormer, I think; on my (6’3”) husband’s side of the bed, the ceiling sloped down low so that if he wasn’t paying attention, he would hit his head when he stood up. Also, as a dormer, the window is small, but that really didn’t matter to us. The A/C worked. The room had an interesting design. The toilet was in a separate room with a sink. The closet was in the entry, across from the bar; it was not large but did have several open shelves you could use. There was coffee, tea and water and a small number of snacks available. The bathroom (other than toilet), including the large shower, was open to the bedroom; however, there were “partition” type door/walls you could use when you were talking a shower for privacy and warmth. I hadn't seen anything like it. It’s a little hard to explain, but it made the room feel a little bigger, while allowing plenty of privacy while showering. I would definitely stay here again.

The space and comfort level of the apartment can be, the air conditioning is very powerful, the disadvantage is that the bedding is soft, the price is quite not cheap, because of the location... But it is in the inner street, the surrounding environment is more mixed, walking to some restaurants. In general, if the price is not so expensive... it is worth staying.

The location is very good, the room can see Lake Geneva and the Jet d'Eau Fountain, but parking is inconvenient, there is no parking lot, you have to park in a public parking lot far away, or in a parking space in the courtyard, you can park for up to 2 hours at a time, and pay a parking fee every 2 hours, about two to three hundred RMB a day. And the house price is several times that of the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin~

I spent 30 mins waiting for the shuttle which never arrived, I spoke to the receptionist about this but she didn’t seem to care. so I had to take a taxi that dropped me off half way & costed 15 francs. The hotel itself was clean and stocked with all the toiletries you need. It was nice & quiet but the room was a bit small

Excellent hotel and service. It’s located almost opposite to the main Genève railway station, and near to the Lake and old town (you can walk or take the tram from outside the station by using your free Geneva pass, which the hotel will send you via email). Very friendly and helpful staff.

I stayed at Hotel Bernina for 5 days and enjoyed my stay there. It is very centrally located with the Cornavin station right in front of the hotel. It was just one stop away from the airport. There are also many food places around. The lake was just a 5 mins walk from the hotel. The customer service was great. The receptionists were lovely and incredibly helpful. The folks at the breakfast, including the chef, were very friendly too. The breakfast was a bit one-dimensional though, with the same food being served everywhere. Either way, the croissant was great! The rooms were comfortable and minimalist. It can be a bit congested if there are more than one person in the room. Apart from that, it was a comfortable stay! AND MIGHT I ADD, THAT THE PILLOWS FELT LIKE CLOUDS! I have never experienced pillows as soft as these in hotels all my life!

The hotel is located next to the station and it's very easy to get there. Also, there are stores, restaurants and even a small market at the station, so you can have easily everything you need. The staff is great, always ready to help the guests. I had a very good time at Le Montbrillant.
