Motel 6 Coalinga, CA - East

First off the hot water comes and goes then there are flyies in the room all the time. The last stay I even found roaches in my room. Light comes in around the doors and the tvs don’t work right. The furniture is broke in some rooms and the heat and air does not work properly in other rooms as well. The OWNERS really need to do some updating and upgrading to there properties and not stuffing there bank account like they are doing.

The guy in the reception was very nice. He didn't take long to check us in. Room was nice and clean. Beds are kinda hard but its okay. I got some sleep anyways. After all it was a good stay.

There were so many fruit flies that they collected in the tub and then sink and they swarmed us. Every time we tried to take a shower partially because I found all the eggs for the fruit flies underneath the accessibility showers seat. Refrigerator in the microwave were actually plugged into a three prong extension that had the ground pulled out of it. That was then put into a two prong extension cord talk about fire hazards oh, and the fire alarm went off at 3:30 in the morning because my friend was outside smoking a cigarette with the window open and I was taking a shower. I don’t know what she said it off, but they have that.

Ive stayed at other Motel 6 and were okay but this location was horrible. The bed was hard the pillows thin and no blanket, not the place to stop to rest. The tub was filthy and old there was no trash can. The AC was so load and noisy we had to turn it off and the vents where very dirty. Would not return or recommend this location at all.

Would not recommend staying here unless you are desperate. Floors, walls and bathroom were not clean, with old and worn furnishings and television, creaky bed, only one hard wood chair, nonfunctional heater.

The hotel unit did not have heater. It was too cold to sleep. There were no comforters, only sheets. There were spiders and spider webs.
