A bona-fide example of Comfort Inn, except until night before checkout. The in-room fire sprinkler started dripping late at night from the ceiling and on to the wall, "pre-packed luggage", and carpeted floor. Once noticed in a.m. while awaiting Uber, notified front desk and maint tech arrived, verified, and viewed it continuing. Luggage was swamped, but thankfully limited to clothing damage I discard to avoid intl flight issues. My reqiest to the desk agent to document the incident was replied with my need to find pen & paper to submit my own "letter before leaving". Time not permitting I noted names, and said I would call the apparent Magager (of whom was the principle point of my praises for the stay) I previously met to report issue & damage, as I waa also scheduled to return that month. Several days later, after no responses to calls & messages, I flew back and returned for a new stay but opted elsewhere when the same Manager simply said they had "no idea how and why the leak happed in the room, probably just rain".
NOTE: the sprikler-head is on an interior-wall, and again, the maint-tech witnessed the ongoing leak. I didnt intend on making an issue if the damaged items, but some respectful recognition (even some visit points) would have been appreciated.
